Hammond, LA Studio Artists Paint Mural for Children's Discovery Center -

October 27, 2010 Three local art instructors have donated their time to create a new mural at the Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center in Hammond. Tweety Bachemin, Jackie Konczol and Tracy Lambert have created “Celebrations around the world,” a mural in the birthday party rooms, said Executive Director Patti Tregle. The artists are instructors at Painting with a Twist, a business in downtown Hammond. Bachemin and Konczol have been with the Painting With a Twist team since its opening in September 2009. Lambert recently joined the team after returning home from teaching at the Art Institute in the Netherlands.
