If friends of yours keep going on and on about how much fun they had at Painting With A Twist and you tell them to "put a cork in it" because you have yet to experience it, just know that the cork is already in it.

That's because Painting With A Twist lets you bring your favorite wine or beverage to sip on as you learn how to recreate a spectacular work of art. Painting With A Twist provides the most fun and unique way of creating a personal masterpiece in a relaxed and social environment. Grab your favorite bottle of wine or beverage and some friends that also want to let their creativity flow and you're ready to give Monet a run for his money. Paint, canvas, and brushes are all provided, as is an experienced and enthusiastic local artist who can lead you step by step through the process of recreating the featured painting. 

Our regular classes are for adults only (13 years and up). Must be 21 years old to consume alcohol

SOS Saturdays!
Didn't finish your painting or simply want to tweak it....join us on the 1st Saturday of every month from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. and have one on one time with an instructor. It's free but you do have to register so we know you're coming.

Family Day
Offered once a month and is designed for all ages 6 years and up work best!

The 15th of every month our calendar is published for the following month. We are conveniently located next door to Daiquiris and across the street from Office Depot on Pinhook!  For planning purposes, Party Time, Raising Cane's, Subway and Little Cesars is within walking distance if not next door.

Here's a run down of some Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: <insert whiny voice> But what if I can't even draw a stick figure? A: You're in luck. None of our 3000+ paintings contain any stick figures!

Q: How much, and what am I paying for? A: 2 hour classes = $35 per painter; 3 hour classes = $45. You will receive all of the materials needed to complete your work of art - including an apron to use in case you want to impress us by wearing an old bridesmaid dress or perhaps your brand new silk and cashmere-infused pantsuit. (Note: please don't) You'll also receive either 2 or 3 hours of step-by-step instruction on completing your masterpiece and a chunk of time devoted to having fun, catching up, gossiping (just talk loud enough for us to hear too), a unique way to spend a date night, etc. 

Q: When do I get to take my painting home? A: We use fast drying acrylic paint, so when you leave our studio at the end of the party you'll walk out with a smile, a new confidence in your art skills, and your completed 16 X 20 inch painting, ready to hang on your wall when you get home.

Q: What kind of food / drinks can I bring? A: Whatever you want!! We've seen it all - fast food, cheese trays, pizza, diet shakes, 20 oz. cans in paper bags, margarita machines, wine coolers, strawberry milk, tuna sandwich from home - Anything goes! We recommend finger foods to keep your nimble fingers ready to paint. We have wine openers and plastic cups.

Can kids come? A: We LOVE teaching children so we host Family Days on most weekends as well as Kids Camps when the kiddos are out of school. We ask that our regular non-Family Day and non-Kids Camp classes be reserved for ages 13-143. For clarification: It's not that we think your child will hang from the ceiling. It's because we want our adult artists to feel completely relaxed and able to talk freely about anything that they'd like to. Adults adore children but most automatically feel pressure to act and speak differently when there are children around, and we're all about being relaxed and letting go.

To recap: ages 12 and younger - Family Days, Kids Camps. 13 and older - any class. *Note: Private parties are the exception. The host/ess of a private party has the say-so in whether children are encouraged to participate.
