Painting with a Twist Is Open In Lansing!

Think you don’t know how to paint? Let us show you that you can. Painting with a Twist – Lansing is serious fun, not serious art! Classes are for ages 16 and older!  We provide the fun local artist, canvas, apron, brushes and paint…you bring the refreshments and during a two or three hour art party you paint along with our artist to create your own fabulous painting that you take home at the end of the evening. From blank canvas to finished masterpiece, our artist will lead you every step of the way. No Experience Required - Only Enthusiasm!

Painting with a Twist- Lansing is the perfect place for your Office Get Together, Team Building, Girls'-Night-Out, Date-Night or any night. Come on in and brush off a busy week.  Bring your friends, or come alone...all are welcome. It's A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT...A LITTLE BIT OF WINE...AND A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

LOCATION: Painting with a Twist - Lansing is conveniently located in the Frandor Shopping Center at 580 Frandor Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48912; between Aco Hardware and Michaels. There is plentiful parking available behind Marshall Music as well as in the Frandor parking lot.

HOW TO RESERVE:  Go to our Calendar and choose which painting you'd like to do, register online, then just show up with your treats and "twist" (adult beverages-Wine and Beer, no liquor please)!  You make the reservation and we do the rest!  Please try to arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to class time to get checked in, grab an apron and set up your sips and snacks. We will start class on time. If you want to sit with friends or are celebrating a special occasion, please, make a note with your reservation!  All guests in the studio must be paid and painting!

Evening classes are for ages 16 and up.  Guests must be at least 21 to consume alcohol in the studio. We reserve the right to ask for identification.  Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

KIDS:   Most of our classes are for ages 16 and older. We absolutely want to encourage young painters, so we will hold Family Classes on certain days.  These events are available to everyone in the family ages 8 and up.  Watch our calendar for scheduling. Parents must escort all attending children and stay on the premises during the event.  And you don't need to have a kid or be a kid to come!  **no alcohol is permitted during kids/family classes**

BOOK A PRIVATE PARTY: We have a great place for your private parties (Girls Night Out, Bachelorette Parties, Baby Showers, Birthdays, Girl and Boy scouts, Soccer teams…Soccer moms, Book Clubs…and a favorite for Corporate Team Building. See Party Info tab for details.

PRICES:$35 per person for a 2 hour class and $45 per person for a 3 hour class

SCHEDULE CHANGES:  The calendar is subject to change without notice, unless there are pre-paid reservations for a class.  If you see a painting you like, please reserve early so we will know you are planning to attend.

CANCELATION POLICY:  We ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you are not able to attend your reserved class in order for you to receive a refund.  Store credits only will be given for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the class. WE REGRET THAT NO SHOWS CANNOT BE ISSUED A REFUND OR A CREDIT. GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE MUST CANCEL AT LEAST 2 DAYS IN ADVANCE TO RECEIVE A REFUND.

GRATUITIES - Although gratuities are not expected, if you had an exceptional time and would like to tip your artist and/or assistant, it is acceptable to do.

S.O.S.:  Didn't finish your painting, or simply want to touch it up?  We give you the chance to come back one time to 'fix' or finish a detail! Once a month, an artist will be available to guide you through the touch up of your painting. This event is free, but please make a reservation online so we know you are coming and what painting you will be working on.  Please refer to our current calendar for the next S.O.S. date.

PAINTING WITH A PURPOSE:  In our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Painting with a Twist proudly sponsors a monthly fundraising class - Painting with a Purpose. 50% of the proceeds from the Painting with a Purpose class are donated to the local non-profit 501c organization.
