In our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Painting with a Twist proudly sponsors a monthly fund raising class – Painting with a Purpose. Proceeds from Paint with a Purpose are donated to local non profit organizations. Painting with a Twist has donated thousands of dollars to local non profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Multiple Sclerosis and Odyssey House. 6/19/2013 - Come out and help us in supporting Healthy Families. The Florida Center for Early Childhood is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization providing comprehensive therapeutic services, clinical interventions, prevention and early education programming for young children and their families. Healthy Families Sarasota is a home visiting program designed to prevent child abuse and neglect in high risk families. Healthy Families serves almost 500 families each year in Sarasota County.

7/13/2013 - July's Paint with a Purpose event is sponsoring the Puppy Rescue Mission. "The troops create a bond in the war zone with a puppy or cat who they refer to as their battle buddy. We help the member to rescue and bring their buddies home. The troop’s families and friends will support the pets until the member returns if they are still deployed when the pet arrives. These service members have rescued these animals from harsh and brutal conditions and the animals return the favor by getting the troops through their toughest and lowest days. Many say this is the part of their tour that reminds them of being home. They come back from a day and have a pet waiting to greet them." 9/26/2013 - Their primary focus is on curbing the cat overpopulation problem. They believe in educating the public on the consequences of irresponsible cat ownership and empowering those who seek help with stray or feral cats. They aim to provide the community with the knowledge and tools needed to become proactive in the fight against cat overpopulation. They rescue cats in need and provide them with veterinary care, food, shelter, and love. They do not euthanize cats to "make room" for other cats We will permit painters aged 12-18 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol. It is against NY State law to leave with an opened, unfinished bottle of wine or beer. Since this is a fundraiser, frequent painter cards will not be accepted as your “free” class, however we will punch your card. If you wish to be seated with a group, please advise us in the Reservation Special Request box. Please check-in at the desk upon arrival. We begin painting at 7pm, but we open 30 min early to give you time to check-in and to start enjoying the event! Payment online or via phone is required to guarantee your reservation. We can’t guarantee availability for walk-ins. If you choose to not pay online, please call the studio- credit cards are used to hold the reservation and you can pay differently once you arrive. A store credit will be given for individuals canceling with at least 24 hours notice. "No shows" with no notification will not be issued store credit or refunds.
