Do you want to host a party your child or Troop will never forget? Then please consider our studio. You can reserve a studio for your party! The kids create a party favor unlike any they have ever had before. Our instructors will guide the guests through a painting for about one hour, the remaining time is devoted to the goodies and the presents. The mess stays with us and the kids love being here.
**Special Pricing for Children's Parties:
Children’s Parties ages 6 - 12. You must pick from the 15 pieces of art we have selected in the studio to receive this special pricing. Children's special pricing is good for parties booked before 4pm only. These $25 paintings are designed to last 1.5 hours. Your will receive a 30 min. grace period giving you a total of two hours in the studio.
Older children, 13 and up, may have private events at our regular price $35/2hour
& $45/3hour event.
We supply all materials for the artwork including smocks for protection of the clothing. Join us in a very fun filled and unique way of partying with kids. What a fabulous piece of art to hang in the child's bedroom....their own!
** $25 fee is valid towards 15 discounted art options on display in studio only - no exceptions.
CORPORATE EVENTS & TEAM BUILDING:
Are you sick of bowling for your team-building event? Join us for an evening of creativity and socializing! Your office/department/region/sales team will leave stress at the door and spend time together creating a unique piece of art, worthy of display! You pick the art and we can create a custom piece (2 week advance notice required). Cheers!

THE BENEFITS OF PRIVATE PARTIES:
- You can select the painting taught from our extensive library including over 1500+ original works of art.
- If scheduled at least two weeks in advance, you can have a customized painting. One of our local artists would be happy to create a specific image for your group.
- You'll have the studio to yourself.
- You can go however over or understated that you'd like. Hire in a caterer, a decorator, just show up with drinks...the possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination! Our Studio Manager, Bren, can offer suggestions! She's brilliant!
How to make it happen...
Private Party Details:
1. Choose your date and time. We do Private Parties any day of the week. Even if there is a regular scheduled class already in the time slot, contact us. If no one is signed up, the time slot is yours.
2. Minimum number of guest required for a private party: ( A weekday is defined as Sunday through Thursday. Weekends are defined as Friday or Saturday.).
At this time the minimum number of guest required for any week day or night is 10.
At this time the minimum number of guest required for a weekend is 10 before 4:00 pm and 15 after 4:00 pm.
3. Additional guest may be added and canceled up to 24 hours prior to the event.
If you change your minimum that becomes your required number of guest. If less than your required number of guests are not present at your event, you, the host/hostess, are required to pay for the short fall in the number of guest.
4. If your guest are paying for themselves they will sign up online using the password set up when you reserced you party. Your guest may also use a credit card via phone by calling the studio at
281 491 9200. All guest need to be signed 24 hours ahead of time.
5. If you are paying for all of your guests: Have an idea of the guests count at the time you reserce your private event. Please confirm the total number of guest 24 hours before your event via email at : sugarland.pwat@gmail.com
6. Grace Period: (Grace Period is defined as time for set-up, preparation,wrap-up, finish up, etc.)You will have 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled class time as a Grace Period. Note: Anytime thereafter, you , the host, will be billed a charge of$50 every (1/2) half hour that you/your guest are in the studio. If youNeed reserve additional time please notify the Artist. If at all possible we will accommodate your request providing there is time based on availability
7. A $100 deposit processed by credit card, via phone or in person, isrequired to secure your party date and time. Your deposit is processed at the time you reserve the studio time and take that slot off of our calendar.The deposit is not to be used to pre pay for the host or any person attending the event. Your deposit is held until the end of your event to secure that all requirements are fulfilled as agreed to. Your deposit will be refunded by the studio manager on the first business day that follows your event provided all requirements are fulfilled, as agreed upon in writing prior to your event.
Your deposit is refundable in full with these exceptions:
*Should it be necessary to use all or a portion of your deposit to cover your minimum number of guest required ( see #3.)
*Should it be necessary to use all or a portion of your deposit to cover extra studio time spent over your scheduled time slot. (see #6)
*Should it be necessary to use all or a portion of your deposit to cover a non compliance with our Cancellation Notices. (see #8 )
8. CANCELLATION NOTICE: Host/Hostess must provide at least a 7-day cancellation notice, otherwise the deposit if forfeited - no exceptions!
9. The cost for a private party is per head/painting
* 2 hour painting $35 per person
* 3 hour painting $45 per person
10. Coupons, Groupons, and discounted gift certificates are not valid for Private Parties or Fundraisers.

Cute ideas...
- You may bring in your choice of food and drink. Birthday cakes, caterers, tailgate snacks, adult beverages (wine, beer, cosmos, margaritas (anything goes). Bring refreshments to suit your event. We have plastic cocktail cups, ice buckets, ice (for chiling drinks), wine openers, bottle openers, plates, napkins, and utensils.
- Use the image of the painting throughout the event planning process. Although all art is subject to copy right protection, we do allow the use of the image for invitations, decorations, and cakes. Please ask about the reproduction of the image in any other instance related to your private event. Bakeries have come up with adorable representations of the painting taught at a private party on cakes and cupcakes.
- Our studio will supply step-by-step instruction, paint, canvas, easels, brushes, and aprons. For birthday parties, we also provide several variations on making the birthday boy or girl feel extra special and forever remember his/her birthday at Painting with a Twist of Sugar Land, TX.
