What is Painting with a Twist?

Painting with a Twist is a fun art expereince for anyone interested in a fun! Our party events offer a variety of canvas sizes, wooden pallets, wine glasses, wood boards and screen art - just check the event calendar for details. 

Do I need to know how to paint?

Not event a little bit - begginers are encouraged, it's part of the fun!

Can I stop in anytime and paint?

We have events on a regular schedule - please view our event calendar, select a session that interests you, reserve and pay online. Pre-registration is recommended for most events. Looking for a specific date or time -give us a call to see what we can work out.

Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?

Yes, please! Our studio is all BYO - we only serve paint water! Feel free to bring in your favorite beverage (wine, beer, or non-alcoholic) and some light snacks to enjoy during class! Light bites/finger foods are best!

Do I need to bring anything with me to paint?

A great attitude and open mind. (You also may want to bring some refreshments.)

Can my child come with me to paint? [Recommended Ages]

We have specific recommendations for ages per experience. While we do love to have our little picassos, please be mindful that our primary focus is on adult experiences. Our supplies are adult sized, and our guests may be trying to have their own night out!


  • Family Day classes are intended for ages 7 and up.

  • All Ages classes are intended for ages 10 and up.

  • Teen & Up classes are intended for ages 13 and up.

  • Evening classes are for adults 18 and older.

Can my friends come and watch us without painting?

Everyone is welcome, but it would not be fair to others to allow for visitors during events therefor, every person in attendance is required to have a paid seat to stay on premises during public events. We do allow 1 parent to stay with a child if needed during a Family Day event for children under the minimum requireme

Q: Where are you?   A: You can find us across Fairview Road from Southpark Mall in the Sharon Corners Shopping Center, behind McDonald's and Harpers. We are in the back corner near Moe's and Gigi's Cupcakes and at the opposite end of the building from Home Goods or The Original Pankcake House.  Directions here!

Q: At what time should I arrive for class? 
A: Arriving 20-30 minutes early is recommended to get uncorked, smocked & in your seat and enjoy your happy half-hour! We expect all guests to arrive NO LESS THAN 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. Guests arriving after the start of the painting session may be refused and no refunds given.

Q: Will you have wine openers and cups? 
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and cups. We do not have ice but we do have an bucket for your ice should you bring your own. 

Q: What do I wear? 
A: We'll be using acrylic paint, which is water-based and non-toxic but it can stain clothing. Of course, we provide aprons to protect your outfit, but you may get so twisted that you end up with a bit of paint on your hands or cheeks! BUT go ahead and get dolled up because we will be capturing the fun and posting to our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Q: Are gratuities appropriate? 
A: We feel our artenders do a fabulous job, if you feel so inclined to let them know with a gratutiy (tip) it is always greatly appreciated but never expected.

Q: Do you do private parties? 
A: Yes, we love to host private celebrations of all kinds! Please contact one of our event planners, or submit a Party Inquiry.

Canellation Policy: 

We understand, life happens. Please note our policy to cancel applies to individuals in all public and private events:

  • If you notify the studio 24 hours or more from your reservation date a studio credit will be extended for 30 days. 

  • If you notify the studio 24 hours or less from the class start time, no refund or credit will be issued.

  • Private Event Hosts follow the cancellation policy terms outlined in the Private Event Agreement signed by host.

  • Bad Weather: Class will cancel if a weather emergency is declared or we determine the roads to be too unsafe to travel on, otherwise our cancellation policy is as stated above. In the rare case of a class cancelling due to poor weather conditions, studio credit will be issued to all registered guests. Please see our website for updates in a case of questionable weather.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late to any session you may not be allowed to paint and lose the registration fee. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled class time and we will have a blast!
