Our Cleveland West, OH Bottle & Bottega Artists
Jen has always loved to paint and create. She worked as an artist in high school & college hand painting & personalizing gifts for a boutique on the east side of Cleveland. She received a double major in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Akron and continued to incorporate art & design into her professional career at Stern Advertising and ALLTEL Publishing. After her two children were born, she created her own hand painting business that specialized in personalized children's gifts and Christmas ornaments. Working as an artist at Bottle & Bottega is a perfect way for Jen to incorporate her love of art and customer service. She gets tremendous joy out of making other people happy. When we can all create something together and have fun doing it, there's nothing better than that!

Ever since Mary was a little girl, she always loved the arts. From drawing, painting, writing, to singing and dancing. As Mary grew older, her passion for art only grew and coincided with her strong desire to help others. This led her to her journey of pursuing a degree in Art Therapy. Mary is currently in the undergraduate Art Therapy program at Ursuline College. She has had the pleasure of painting with women in recovery, adults with mental illness, urban elementary children, and Alzheimer's and dementia patients. Mary's dream is to one day have an Art Therapy studio of her own that also incorporates yoga, to offer clients healing through art, meditation and movement. An advocate for the therapeutic value of painting, Mary hopes to share that joy with all guests at Painting With a Twist.
Shawna has been a creative since birth. From cheerleading, playing a variety of instruments, singing, drawing and painting, Shawna continues to tap into new creative gifts with time. As Shawna planned to attend college, she realized her passion for art was directly connected to her desire to inspire others. Shawna studied and earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting from Mississippi State University. While there, she has the pleasure of being an on campus gallery manager and painting a mural on the back wall of the Dawg House stage in MSU's Colvard Student Union. The mural featured Mississippi music with an emphasis on Black Prairie blues. Shawna’s dream is to one day own an Art Gallery and to present healing through Art. She has plans to attend Graduate school studying Art Therapy. She has a strong desire and zeal to cultivate creative gifts in children. Shawna is full of Joy and when she’s not creating, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dog. She desires to share her joy and skills with all guests at Bottle & Bottega by Painting with a Twist!
