Benefits of a Private Party
We provide all of the art supplies.
Guests may bring their snacks, drinks, and decorations of choice.
No observers are allowed. everyone in attendance must have a paid seat.
Creativity Zone 1 can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests.
Creativity Zone 2 can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests.
The minimum number of painters required for private parties on Friday and Saturday nights is 10.
The minimum number of painters required for private parties at all other times is 10.
The minimum number of painters required for a private Paint Your Pet party is 10, regardless of the day of the week.
Don't have enough guests for a private party? Have a party within a party! You and your group can sign up for any class on the calendar, and we'll seat you at your own table and you can bring any food/party favors/decorations that you want!
Payment/Cancellation Policy/Additional Information
The host of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card. There is a 3 seat non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to seat reservations, in order to book a private party. A link to the painting library will be sent only after the deposit is received. Our minimum of 10 seats must be paid 7 days in advance of the party, or the class will be opened to the public. If the party is booked less than 7 days out, at least 10 seats must be paid on the day of the booking. There is a 7 day cancellation policy. If a party is canceled with a 7 day notice, the host will receive a store credit for the deposit amount, and each guest that reserved a seat will receive store credit. If a party is canceled with less than 7 day notice, the deposit is forfeited but paid guests will receive store credit. No store credit if less than 24 hour notice or no show. There are no refunds for any circumstances. If the minimum requirement is not met for the party through attendance, the host/hostess credit card will be charged the balance to meet the minimum. By setting up a private party, you are confirming comprehension of the policy, and you are responsible for ensuring your guests are aware of the policy.
Once the private party has been booked and the painting is selected, the host/hostess will receive a passcode to distribute to guests. Hosts can also email or print custom invitations. Guests can then go online and individually pay and register for the private party, or the host/hostess may instead pay with one payment for the party.
Additional Information for Kid Parties
Host a unique party for your child's birthday, Scout Troop, sports team, or dance class! Kids love painting here and they also love our dance breaks! Plus, kids leave with their complete masterpieces, so there is no need to come back and pick them up at a later date.
Kid parties are available any day or evening of the week, except Friday & Saturday nights.
Typical Kids Parties are $25 per seat with a 10 seat minimum, and include 1.5 hour painting on a 16x20 canvas and a half hour for breaks, snacks and presents.

Painting with a Twist, Edwardsville is a BYOB studio. Must be 21 years old to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
Evening classes are for painters 16+, unless otherwise noted. Family and kids classes are open to painters 5+. See class descriptions for recommended ages. Exceptions to age restrictions may be made for private parties only.
