We are a great place to host a wide variety of parties!
COVID SAFETY: Parties are limited to no more than 15ppl. Mask are required to remain ON during party (participants do not live in same home and may not all know each other or be comfortable around non mask wearers. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you have less than 8 ppl, try having your group join a public class! You will be sat together and would be allowed to bring some light foods.
Also, for ultimate privacy, consider having your party on Thursday or Sunday

Cost is $35 per person
The cost is $35 per painter for parties greater than 12 people; $40 per painter for parties of 12 or less. The minimum number of attendees is 10, max is 60 people.

Benefits of a Private Party
- You select your own masterpiece to paint from our collection of 10,000 paintings. A link will be emailed to you so that you can choose your painting! You will be able to choose from 2 hour ($35-$55/person) or 3 hour ($45-$55/person) paintings. (See additional info for Kid's Birthday Parties below)
- You can schedule your party any day of the week, space permitting. We have morning, afternoon and evening slots available.
- You get your own private party room and your own artist-instructor.
- Prices are the same per person as our regular public classes.
- No set up, no clean up - just show up!
- You get the room 30 minutes before and after your party to celebrate.
- Hosts of parties receive a gift certificate for a future class upon request!
We provide all of the art supplies
Guests may have their event catered themselves. However, alcoholic beverages, must be purchased from the studio.
How do I reserve and pay for my party?
Parties should be booked at least 3 weeks out.

3. Pay deposit (3 Seat) to HOLD your date and time
4. Pick your art
Studio 1 can accommodate a maximum of 40 guests.
Studio 2 can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests.
Together, max 65
The minimum number of painters required for private parties 10. The 10 seats must be paid in full 1 week prior to party date; NO EXCEPTIONS.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
Private parties can be booked for either a two-hour painting or a three-hour painting session. Your guests can pay individually when they arrive or you can pay as a group, but please refer to the required minimums.
All classes begin promptly at the scheduled time, for that reason; please have your guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, in order to allow ample time for checking in and setting up.
We allow a 30-minute grace period to stay and continue painting after the instructor is finished teaching the painting. An additional studio fee of $50 dollars may be added to the total cost if your guests fail to arrive by the time class starts, or if your group exceeds the 30-minute grace period at the end of class.
We will provide all of the supplies you will need such as paint, brushes, easels, canvases and aprons. We recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting a little paint on- just in case! Furthermore, The Khan Artist Co. and PWAT will not be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss that may occur, resulting from potential paint spills.

All private parties require a valid credit card number in order to hold the reservation, and it will only be charged if you are in violation of any terms listed in this agreement
The cost is $35 per painter for parties greater than 12 people; $40 per painter for parties of 12 or less. The minimum number of attendees is 10 max is 60 people. As the host of the private party, it is your responsibility to make sure that you have the minimum number of guests attending. We suggest that you collect the appropriate payments from your group in advance. If you cannot meet the minimum number of painters you will be charged for the minimum amount of the class if the attendance does not reach the above set minimum. A deposit of 3 seats ($105/$120) is required to hold your date and time, if you are paying for 10 or more seats in advance then the deposit is waived. For non-corporate events: THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF SEATS FOR YOUR PARTY NEED TO BE PAID FOR IN FULL 1 WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR DATE, ELSE YOUR EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED.
The host of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card. There is a 7 day cancellation policy. We do charge a 3 seat deposits, and the credit card will be charged a 2 seats cancellation fee if less than 7 days’ notice of cancellation is given. If the minimum requirement is not met for the party through attendance, the host/hostess credit card will be charged the balance to meet the minimum.
Once the private party has been booked and the painting is selected, the host/hostess will receive a passcode to distribute to guests. Hosts can also email or print custom invitations. Guests can then go online and individually pay and register for the private party, or the host/hostess may instead pay with one payment for the entire party and just have their invited guest show up. Any unplanned (additional) guest that show up at the event will have to pay in person or the credit card of the Host will be charged the per person rate for each guest.
The Khan Artist Co. and PWAT does not endorse the over consumption of alcoholic beverages. The customer assumes all liability for themselves and their party guests if any form of negligence arises from the consumption of alcohol. Should the customer and/or his or her party guest(s) become ill and/or injured while under the influence of alcohol, the customer and/or his or her guest(s) assume all responsibility for any financial expenses including but not limited to medical bills, vehicle repairs, and all other damaged personal property. The customer waives all legal rights to pursue any form of legal action against The Khan Artist Co. and its staff or against PWAT for the reasons stated herein and against all claims, losses or damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines and costs (including attorney’s fees).
Host a unique party for your child's birthday, Scout Troop, sports team, or dance class! Kids love painting here and they also love our dance breaks! Plus, kids leave with their complete masterpieces, so there is no need to come back and pick them up at a later date.
Kid parties are available during daytime hours only (before 4pm), any day of the week.
Typical Kids Parties are 2 and a Half hours, which include 30 mins before class, 1 and a half hours of paint class time, and 30 minutes after for cupcakes and presents.
NO CHILDRED UNDER 6 ALLOWED TO PAINT. CHILDREN 6 years of age require an adult to assist them. Preferably max 4 adults in the room.
For Hartford County, the cost is $35-$55 per painter. The minimum number of attendees is 25 and the maximum is 50.
Outside of Hartford County the cost is $45 -$55 per painter. Minimum of 30 painters.
As the host of the private party, it is your responsibility to make sure that you have the minimum number of guests attending. We suggest that you collect the appropriate payments from your group in advance. If you cannot meet the minimum number of painters you will be charged for the minimum amount of the class if the attendance does not reach the above set minimum. A deposit of 5 seats ($175) is required to hold your date and time, if you are paying for 10 or more seats in advance then the deposit is waived.
OFFSITE Cancellation Policy
We require at least a one-week (7 days) notice if you should need to cancel. If you fail to give us at least a one-week (7 days) notice from your scheduled date, you will be charged a cancelation fee in the amount of initial deposit of 3 seats.
Call the studio to book! - No contract, No Deposit, No Problem. Sun-Thurs (Noon - 7PM) Call the studio, choose a painting from our current or past calendar, pay for 5 people over the phone. Come in an paint. That simple. This is not a private party, as we will make it OPEN to the public. The benefit is, you got to pick the painting and will be seated directly in front of the artist stage.
