Q: Do I need to have painting experience?
A: Absolutely not! Our classes are designed for people who have never painted in their life. In 2 or 3 hours, you will have had a fun experience and get to take home your own art masterpiece!
Q. Where can I find your upcoming paintings and sign up for a class?

Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Our 2-hour classes are $35. Our 3-hour classes are $45. Our 1.5 hour classes are $25 per painter.
Q: Do I have to pre-register?
A: Yes. You may do so by calling us 810-937-5909, or register online at https://www.paintingwithatwist.com/port-huron/calendar/. If we do not expect you, we may be forced to cancel the class due to low enrollment. We kindly ask and prefer that you call atleast 24 hours in advance.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we will have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.
Q: How do I reserve a painting class?
A: Browse our Event Calendar page and select a painting on a date that suits your schedule. You can sign up and pay online, or reserve your seat by phone (810-937-5909) and pay in person.
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: 15 to 20 minutes would be plenty of lead time.
Q: What is provided?
A: We supply wine openers, cups, aprons and all the art supplies you will need.
Q: What is acceptable to bring to class?
A: Feel free to bring in whatever you'd like to nibble on. You may also bring beer, wine, wine coolers. Please, no hard liquor.
Q: What do I wear?
A: Wear something comfortable. We do provide aprons, but keep in mind that paint may still find its way to your clothing. Please note: acrylic paint does not come out of clothing.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We do require reservations, either online or by phone, with payment to secure seats.
Q: Do you offer a refund if I can’t make it to a class?
A:NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS. A complimentray reservation extension valid for 30 days after cancellation will be given for the individuals cancelling with at least 24 hours notice.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we can accommodate up to 16 people (a minimum of 10 is required) in our Pinot Room, or up to 36 people in our Merlot Room. Please refer to our Party Info tab for more information.
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We use a 16 x 20 inch canvas. We now offer 12X12 canvases for $30 per painter. 10X30 are $35 per painter, as well as our wooden cutouts.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes, we suggest your child be 7 to paint. We recommend ages 16 and older for evening classes (with adult supervision). Ages 7-15 are more than welcome to attend any class that ends by 6pm. There will possibly be alcohol on the premises. If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.
Q: Can children under 15 years old paint?
A: Yes. Family Day is offered at our studios. We recommend ages 7 and older. Children 7-15 years old are more than welcome to attend any class that ends by 6pm. Private Parties are also another avenue to accommodate younger children. Again, please know that adult supervision is always required for those under 18.
Q: Can I customize a painting?
A: Yes! Colors can be adjusted for most paintings. Just make sure that when you book your class you let a manager know what your requests are and they can let you know if it's possible.

* Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
BYOB. Soft drinks are acceptable. You must be over 21 to consume alcohol. No hard liquor, nor drinking games allowed.
We suggest your child be over the age of 7 to paint, but ultimately you know your child best. We recommend ages 16 and older for evening classes (with adult supervision). There will possibly be alcohol on the premises.
