How do I reserve a spot for my private party?

What are the Benefits of a Private Party? 

  • You select your own masterpiece to paint from our collection of over 3,600 paintings. A link will be emailed to you so that you can choose your painting!
  • Prices are the same per person as our regular public classes.
  • No set up, no clean up - just show up!
  • You get the room 30 minutes before and after your party to celebrate.
  • We provide all of the art supplies, as well as cups, and corkscrews.
  • Guests may bring their snacks and drinks of choice. 

When can I have a party? 

7 days a week and we work with you on a date/time (subject to artist availability). 

Kids parties may be booked 10am-3pm Mon-Fri and 10-4pm Sat-Sun. Minimum age to paint at our studio is 5. Kids parties are not allowed during evening hours. 

What is the cost and is there a deposit for a private party? 

Private parties can be booked either for a 2 hour session at $37.00 per person or a 3 hour session at $49.00 per person. Children’s parties can be booked at $27.00 per person for a 1 1/2hour session if the painting selection is chosen from PWAT’s 1.5 hour (12 and under) category.  

An additional hour of party time is available (30 minutes before and 30 minutes after) for all private parties at no charge that choose a 2 hour or 3 hour painting. 

The host/hostess of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card at a 3 seat deposit (prices vary with time selection).

Once the private party has been booked, guests can go online and pay and register for the private party individually. Alternatively, the host/hostess may pay with one payment for the party. Remaing balance for party will be collected one week prior to scheduled reservation. Cancellations must be made 10 days before the scheduled party.  If notice of cancellation is given less than 10 days prior to scheduled party, the credit card on file will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. 

Any parties reserved within 10 days of requested date will be charged payment in full on day of reservation.

What is the minimum number needed for a Private Party? 

Our private party minimum is subject to date, time and availability. Please call for information acurate to your needs. 210-662-7928. 

Max occupancy is 66 seats.  

How much in advance do I need to schedule my party? 

The sooner, the better! We can book a party up til 6 months in advance. 

Any parties reserved within 10 days of requested date will be charged payment in full on day of reservation.

Do I get to choose the painting for my party? 

Yes, once your private party is booked an invitation to our online painting gallery is generated to view our painting selections.
