What is Painting with a Twist - Selden?

Our professional artists will teach each class step by step through the specific painting of the day. We use acrylic paint on canvases and wood boards! Guests that have no painting experience surprise themselves with how much fun it is!

How does Selden PWAT work?

View the calendar of classes to find a painting you like, register online, and arrive for class no less than 10 minutes prior to class time and prepare for a relaxing and fun art session! We have a calendar of classes online with both Public Events and Private Events. You can come to a public event alone, or with as many friends as you can round up - everyone can register separately but still be seated together! Guests should state in comments when they register ONE designated name from the group (i.e. sitting with Connie Smith) and we do our best to seat your group all together as long as the request is made prior to the event time!

Public Events and are open to the public (noting the age restrictions-under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). The art shown on the calendar is the painting that will be taught on the day/time listed for the art shown.

Private Events there is a 12 person paid guest minimum to reserve our private event studio.  To book a private party click here!

  • Parties are either 2 hours ($42/pp) or 3 hours ($52/pp) depending on the painting.   You will be able to choose from a standard 16x20 canvas, a shiplap pallet, framed 16x20 canvas, or pine wood board. Kid's Birthday Parties, ages 7-12, are $37 per person if you choose from our 1.5 hour art. If you do not want the party to end you can also rent your private studio for additonal time!
  • The host of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card. There will be a 5 person deposit required in order to reserve the date you want for your event. There is a 7-day cancellation policy. If less than 7 days written notice of cancellation is given your deposit is forfeited. If the minimum requirement of painters is not met for the party through attendance, the host/hostess credit card will be charged the balance to meet the minimum (less the 50% deposit charged).  If we do not receive your deposit within 2 business days you will loose your date and time for your event.
