My name is Samantha, I'm the owner/operator/resident crazy person of the PWAT Wilmington studio! I started my PWAT life with the amazing babes of the Painting with a Twist - Charlotte, NC studio and quickly realized I wanted this for the longterm. So I packed up my life and my right-paw pup Finnegan and headed to Wilmington to spread paint and sip cheer!!
In my non-PWAT time, I am a freelance children's book illustrator. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2010 and although I miss Savannah terribly, my heart lies in North Carolina <3 I'm beyond happy to get to know the lovely city of Wilmington and the wonderful people who live here!
Hi, I’m Jean. I was born and raised in Georgia and moved to the Port City in 2010. I attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia and studied Communication Arts with a Minor in Marketing. I moved back to Atlanta and worked at a radio station for a few years before moving to Wilmington. I have always wanted to live at the beach and my dream finally came true! During the day I work at a local television station making the magic happen. I never studied art traditionally, but come from a very artistic family that encouraged creativity. I thoroughly enjoy Painting with a Twist and the creativity that comes along with it.
My name is Delia and I'm an artist, writer and musician on a mission to promote independent arts and build creative community. I learned how to paint from my grandmother at a young age and never put the brushes down! I've been an artist and educational trainer for over a decade with a passion for learning new things and having fun. You can catch me vending, painting and playing music all over Wilmington!
My name is Emily, and I am an artist and the Vice President of Port City Princess Parties. My passion has always lied within creativity, so I pursued that calling through studying studio art at UNC Wilmington, and I am expecting to graduate in July of 2019. My artwork strives to encourage all people to be accepting of themselves and others, and promotes equality among all people. I have lived in Wilmington since 2014, but I have recently gained momentum in the community through spreading my message with art. I am so excited to be a part of a community that embraces the arts and creative expression!
