Our Artists

Nicole Isbell

Nicole Isbell

Nicole is a classically trained artist, born and raised in the East Bay outside of San Francisco, California. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2009 where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts with a specialty in painting and illustration. Inspired by her travels and the world around us, her work explores many themes and styles including the divine Feminine, natural abstraction, and the construction/destruction of art as a metaphor of life itself. When not creating or teaching, Nicole enjoys adventuring through life with her pup, Lemon, and her tortoise, Ro.
Jeff Miles

Jeff Miles

Jeff grew up in Bowie, Maryland and moved to Austin, Texas to attend St. Edward’s University in 2011. In the spring of May 2015, he earned his BFA in Studio Art. Since he was young, Jeff has grown to work with pastels, graphite and charcoal, but his main medium is the use of oil paint. While Jeff believes that art is an expression of all emotions with endless meanings, he likes to focus most of his work on cultural empowerment, equality and self-confidence. In his time here in Austin, he has completed three large-scale outdoor murals, participated in the youth-focused ‘Little Artist Big Artist’ program, and was also chosen to display his senior art series in the Austin–Bergstrom International Airport. When Jeff is not creating art, he enjoys eating pizza, watching football, and considers himself a movie connoisseur of sorts.

Brittany Bernstrom

Brittany Bernstrom

While studying abroad, she had the opportunity to paint in Monet's Garden and along the canals of Venice, Italy. Her love of nature stems from early childhood when she began collecting animal bones and insect shells from the woods near her home. She has a unique style mixing the beautiful with the macabre which is demonstrated in her woodcuts. She also focuses in other forms of printmaking, illustration, and photography. Brittany is currently employed in the photography field, teaches art classes, and does freelance work.
Ari Reyes

Ari is currently attaining her bachelor's degree in Art at St. Edward's University and aims to attain her Master's degree in the near future. Ari's main interests in art range from a love for the natural world (seen through her Pantheist beliefs and practices), a captivation for astronomy and neural science, as well as an appreciation for folklore and the mystic/wiccan. Currently, Ari has been deeply interested in more political works focusing on environmentalism and conservation, which she will be exploring further in the months to come. Aside from painting and illustration, Ari enjoys printmaking and photography. When she’s not busy with school or art, she also enjoys going hiking, gardening, petting dogs and cats, and watching horror movies.
