Lover of all the fine arts, of culture, and of language, I am a self-proclaimed Renaissance Woman, and Worldly Educator. I was born in California, but was an “Army Brat,” and grew up all over the place. I studied primarily Art History, Spanish, and Dance in College, and have enjoyed teaching in these areas and in many contexts in the years that followed. I am currently working on my graduate degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of South Florida. When I am not teaching from the stage of Painting with a Twist Studio making people laugh and dance in their seats while they paint beautiful images, I am a Spanish language instructor, a portrait artist and art model, a cat enthusiast, a yoga and dance “expert,” an adventurer, a lover, a tourist, a connoisseur of interesting bar conversations, and a Free Spirit.
