Hello! I’m Josie and I have been painting and creating my whole life. I am constantly exploring new techniques and feeding my passion for learning and teaching art. I have had a lot of different jobs- park ranger, burger flipper, non-profit gardener, and currently a job coach for people with disabilities- but creating is my passion. No matter what the job once my shift ends I am in my studio working on my latest artwork. I love to work with all different mediums but alcohol markers, acrylic, gouache and watercolor are a few of my favorites. Hello, My name is Lacey! I am a local artist and illustrator from Michigan. I have a Bachelors of Fine Art Illustration, from Kendall College of Art and Design. I have loved art from a very young age and enjoy sharing that passion with others. I believe everyone should experience the joy of creating! When I am not in the studio or working on art, you would probably find me taking a long walk in the woods with my husband, enjoying the beauty of nature, or curled up with a nice book. Along with painting, with all of you lovely people at Painting with a Twist, I also do my own personal art work and commissions.
