Q: What is Painting with a Twist?
A: Painting with a Twist is a fun art studio for anyone interested in painting! In our classes we use acrylic paints on canvases  or wood boards and teach the class step by step through the specific painting of the day.  Most of our guests have no painting experience and all of them have great success!

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me to paint?
A: Your reservation fee includes everything you need to create a beautiful and unique painting! When you arrive you are supplied with an apron, canvas, brushes, paints and step by step art instruction throughout the class! When class is done, your artwork is ready to hang! The only things you may want to bring are some refreshments.

Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Classes range from $39-$58.

Q: Is there a minimum amount of painters required for you to have the class?
A: Yes, there have to be at least 4 painters signed up for a painting for us to have the class.  If that minimum is not met, we will notify you and offer a Gift certificate or class transfer.

Q: How do I pay for a class?
A:  You can reserve your seats on our PWAT Keller Website. Please note, we will not save your seat/s without payment up front.
We do not take checks.

Q: Can I stop in anytime and paint?
A: We hold classes at specific times and those are the only times guests can come in and paint. To join a class, please view our calendar, select a painting you like and register online. Pre-registration is required for all classes.

Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: The calendar is posted on the 15th of every month.

Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we will have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.

Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: 15-20mins would be plenty of lead time.

Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and cups.

Q: What do I wear?
A: Whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have aprons for you if you need them.

Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We do require reservations with payment to secure seats and we require a 24 hour cancellation.  No calls/no shows will not be issued store credit or refunds

Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we can accommodate at least 24 people with both studio rooms. See Party Info

Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We use a 116x20 or 10x30

Q: Are children allowed and is there an age limit?
A: Most of our painting classes are for adults 16 or older. However, 14-17 year olds accompanied by an adult may attend ALL open classes, except for Friday and Saturday nights after 6:00pm. All attendees must be 16 or older to attend Friday and Saturday night Open classes. We occasionally offer family friendly painting classes for children 6 and up. These classes will be marked Family Days or Fun for the Family on our Calendar. For Kids Parties ages are 6-12. Children not painting, such as babies and toddlers, may not attend any class. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Adults not painting must pay for a seat to stay in the studio during class.

Q: Are we allowed to bring in beverages and food?
A: Our studio is all BYO - we only serve paint water! Feel free to bring in your favorite beverage and some light snacks to enjoy during class! Remember you are painting most of the time so finger foods are best! 
Also note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: If you need to cancel your reservation you are able to receive a refund minus $5 processing fee or a store credit of the amount you paid. NO SHOWS WILLNOT RECEIVE REFUNDS OR STORE CREDIT


For any other reasons not specified, or artist sickness, artist unavailbility or cancelling due to low enrollment store credt will be issued or a class transfer.  

Gift certificate can be transferred to another person with an email request.

Private Parties:  If you cancel a private party, you must cancel at least 10 days prior to the event or forfeit your entire deposit or amount paid; whichever is greater.

Kids Parties:  If you cancel a kids private party, you must cancel at least 10 days prior to the event or forfeit your entire deposit or amount paid; whichever is greater.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A:  If you need to cancel your reservation you are able to receive a refund minus $5 processing fee or a store credit of the amount you paid. Bad Weather: Class will cancel if a weather emergency is declared or we determine the roads to be too unsafe to travel on, otherwise our cancellation policy is as stated above. In the rare case of a class cancelling due to poor weather conditions, studio credit will be issued to all registered guests, or you will be offerred to transfer to another class. Please see our website for updates in a case of questionable weather.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive 10 minutes or more late you may not be allowed to paint and lose the registration fee. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled class time and we will have a blast! 

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to class time, if possible, and refunds will be processed in the form of Gift certificates or we can transfer you to another class.
