Our Strongsville, OH Painting with a Twist Artists
Everyone has a passion, something they absolutely love doing, whether it's a sport, hobby, or their career. Jaime's passion is Art. Since she could hold a marker in her hand she was drawing, coloring, and always making crafts. She followed her love of Art by going to the MCCC graduating from Multi-Media Digital Design. She then became a graphic designer for a few years. In 2015 she became a mother to a sweet baby girl, she was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom for 4 years. She loved every minute of it but now it's time for her to continue her career in Art. She is now pursuing her dreams and teaching others the fun in painting at Painting with a Twist!!
A self taught artist, Javar began drawing and painting at very early age. He would practice his art every chance that he could. There were very limited art classes in his area, so when Jeffrey Pye invited him to participate in a summer arts program when Javar was around the age of ten years old, he was delighted to join and learn all that he could. Since then, Javar has gone on to become a father who reintroduced himself to the beauty and peace of art. Now, Javar is notable name in his community for participating in multiple art shows around the states and bridging the art gap between the older and younger crowds that's he has been in front of. He looks to open an art class for the children where he grew up to show them the importance of all art mediums and to help give the children a better way to express the creativity bottled up within them.
Jenn has always had an interest in arts and crafts since a young age. She would customize clothes, projects at home and designs to fit her taste when she couldn't find what she was looking for in the stores.
She also uses her talents to make homemade gifts for family and friends. She was always told she was in the wrong field of work and should be using her artistic talent, which is why she is excited to be a part of the Painting with a Twist team.
I went to school at Kent State and Akron University for graphic design and love all things art and art related! I took a break from school to peruse a new job as a Sous Chef in Cleveland! Now instead of making art on a computer I do it with food! When I’m not cooking, I love going to Indians games, walking through the park to look at all the cute dogs, or hanging out at home with my fur baby Miles and my boyfriend watching movies.

My name is Kimberly Dove. I was born in Columbus, Ohio. I have two beautiful daughters.
I grew up in Arizona. Being raised in the Southwest has had a large influence on my art. I am passionate about the Native Americans, desert landscape and the wildlife, especially horses.
I graduated from Emporia State University where I received a BS in Art and Recreation and Leisure Studies with a Minor in Psychology. My emphasis was in weaving and fiber arts but I also studied painting, drawing, metalry, art history, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture.
I moved to New Zealand in 1997. I worked as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Early Childhood Educator and was a partner in a building company. During this time I received a graduate diploma in Teaching Primary Education. Afterwards, I taught year 5 and 6 at Te Awamutu Primary School in Te Awamutu, New Zealand.
In 2013 I moved back to Ohio with my youngest daughter and currently work downtown for a steel company.
Hey, my name is Maddy May. I grew up in the super small town of Saint Henry, Ohio. I moved to Northeast Ohio to attend Kent State University, where I received my degree in Art History. While at Kent State I studied abroad four times and traveled to 14 countries overall. My personal style of art is realism, and I have been recently working on a collection from my travels, which should be finished soon, but that’s unlikely. My favorite thing to do….talk. I love to talk. To anyone, about anything. I look forward to meeting and talking with tons of new people at Painting with a Twist, and hope everyone enjoys!
Hi! My name is Robyn! I’m a self-taught artist and began this new adventure only a few, short years ago. One day the universe told me draw & I listened. I started with pencil and quickly moved to charcoal. I specialize in doing realistic charcoal portraits. As for painting, for me it is so different and exciting and I love to use it to help bring the joy and fun of creating art into others’ lives! My little saying is that my art is “my beautiful mess, perfectly imperfect.” Much of my free time is spent doing research, tying new mediums, and developing my skills. I enjoy yoga, hiking, and listening to music. Most importantly, I’m mom to the most amazing little man, Trey. When we aren’t homeschooling we are always trying to find something to get into. We are very involved with Cub Scouts, love going to the movies and the library, love swimming and being outdoors.
