Thursday, Oct. 1st is our public Painting with a Purpose event where 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County. The Center provides mental and behavioral health care services to thousands of children every year. It is the "safety net" for the growing number of families who live in Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport, Weston, and Wilton that can't afford private mental health care treatment for their children. As such, the Center never turns a child away, regardless of the family's ability to pay for services. The Center's philosophy is simple: every child deserves the chance to live a happy and productive life. Its mission is to make that a reality.
