Painting with a Twist FAQ
Do I need to make reservations?
Yes! We recommend booking ahead so we can reserve your seat and prepare your materials, even for our Open Studio Events. This also ensures that the class does not get cancelled if the minimum number of painters is not met.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open 30 minutes before class for check-in, drinks, snacks, and pre-party fun. Painting starts promptly at the class time listed.
Can I bring food or drinks?
Absolutely! Bring snacks, desserts, or small bites to enjoy. We are a BYOB location; alcohol is not available for purchase at this time, but may be brought to the studio.
Do I need any painting experience?
No experience needed! Our talented artists will guide you step-by-step so everyone can leave with something they’re proud of.
Do you provide all supplies?
Yes! All materials—canvas/surface, brushes, paints, aprons, and instruction—are included.
Can kids attend classes?
Yes, we offer Family-Friendly classes, and make sure to check each event’s listing for age recommendations. Please contact the studio for further questions regarding age policies.
Can I change my artwork surface?
We have surface upgrades available when you make your reservation. If you arrive at your event and decide to upgrade, just let your artist know!
What if I’m running late?
Please contact the studio, and we’ll do our best to help you catch up! If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available online and in the studio and can be used for any class or private event.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable, paint-friendly clothing. Aprons are provided, but paint may stain clothing!
Can I paint at home instead?
Yes! We offer DIY at-home paint kits. You can purchase them in the studio or online through our website. Kits include everything you need to create your masterpiece at home.
How do I book a private party?
You can request a private event online, by text, or in person. A 2-seat deposit saves your date, and private events require a 6-seat minimum.
What’s the difference between HOST PAY and INDIVIDUAL PAY?
HOST PAY: The host pays for all seats. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the event.
INDIVIDUAL PAY: Guests pay individually. The 6-seat minimum must be met 48 hours prior.
What happens if I don't meet the minimum for my private party?
If fewer than 6 seats are paid for at least 48 hours before your event, it may convert to a public class. Your art, date, and time remain the same, and your group will sit together.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 7 days’ notice for cancellations. Cancel more than one week before your event for a full refund. Please contact the studio for other circumstances.
