Kerrie Landry-Sanchez (Franchise Owner)

Kerrie Landry-Sanchez (Franchise Owner)

I'm excited to be a part of the Painting With A Twist (PWAT) family, as the new owner of the Ocala, Florida PWAT. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Paint and Sip industry, something that has become so popular and enjoyed by so many. I am originally from England but have been in Florida for over 35 years. I have two amazing kids, Arianna and Sebastian. We love spending time at the beach and movies, and am very involved in their education and extracurricular activities. I have always loved Art and the self expression delivered through it. Art is expressed in everything we do and how we live life, our own personal canvas. From an early age, I knew that I was an entrepreneur. I started in the restaurant business at age 15, and worked to running and owning multiple restaurants. During that time, I also received a Business degree. I wanted to explore a new direction but continue working with people. I fell in love with PWAT after a personal experience with the Ocala studio.

Sheryl Miller

Sheryl Miller

Sheryl Is a very creative person. Her father was an artist and draftsman and her mother was a musician. So, she got the best of both worlds. Her father taught her some of the fundamentals when she was about 6 years old. The rest she learned on her own. She’s worked some in pencils, pastels, oil paint, murals, 3D graphics and has work on Stunt Show Sets, VBS themes, and award winning parade floats. Her mother was a singer and musician. That’s where Sheryl’s love for music comes in. Sheryl sings and plays some guitar. She has also spent 25 years in Radio, 16 in national radio for various formats from News, Classic Rock, Country, Adult Contemporary and even Radio Disney. She enjoys all different types of art and music and finds inspiration in them. Sheryl always loves to learn and try new things. She has a “Can Do” attitude. Other interests include Belly Dance, Kenpo Karate, Live Sound Production, and has an Advanced Scuba Certification as well as rehabbing houses. She also loves to help people and has taught dance, martial arts, guitar, radio. And now she is proud part of our art instructor team. So don’t be surprised if she busts out in song and dance. If she cuts loose, feel free to join her.

George Tripp

George Tripp

Graduated digital artist and self taught painter, George has always dabbled with art. From killing time, to self expression, there comes a multitude of motivations for what starts his work. In 2019 he really kicked off his passion with the creation of two illustrated stories. The styles themselves are vast, as he doesn’t allow himself to just stick with a common look. Anywhere from funny cartoons to creepy prints, and everything in between, his collection of art has quite the variety of appearances. Having been inking and using a tablet for so many years, upon picking up a paintbrush for one of the first few times in his life, he’s found a new medium and outlet for his art, allowing the canvas to welcome his curiosity. Now here with PWAT, George hopes to open his field of work into works he never thought he’d try, and happily include the community along with that journey.

Stephanie Lemke

Stephanie Lemke

Born in Florida but raised in Canada. I’ve spent my life drawing. I knew from a young age that art would become a major part of my life. Growing up, I used to write on my walls-sorry mom, and doodle in my notebooks and always had my sketchbook at hand. I loved art so much, I decided to take a variety of college art courses, where my new passion for different art styles and techniques began. I always told myself that I wasn’t a painter until I started working for another paint and sip company in Toronto. I would say I had a talent for it, that painting came naturally. I’m always doing something creative. Wether it’s painting, drawing, writing short stories or poetry. Art isn’t always what you see, but how you felt making it.

Alexis Dorsey

Alexis Dorsey

Born and raised in Ocala, FL, Alexis has always been passionate about the arts. Since Alexis could talk, she has been singing her heart out. She is now in college to become a music teacher. Alexis has always loved everything artistic, so painting is no stranger to her. She is self taught on canvases at home, but wants to share her passions with the world. Working at PWAT will give her the opportunity to start sharing her love of art and continue growing as an artist.

Carla Gonzalez

Carla Gonzalez

I was born in Havana, Cuba but I moved to the US back in 2016. My history with art starts at 5 years old, mostly self-taught, but I can proudly say that I’ve learned a lot from the few art teachers that I’ve had throughout my life. My art ranges from realism to surrealism to abstract, and I have worked with many different media on many different surfaces, including but not limited to: oils, acrylics, printmaking, murals, etc. I like to spend my free time on a plane, I love traveling and visiting museums from all over the world to get inspiration to work on new pieces. I love animals, good books, art in all its forms, and good coffee.

Amber March-Bruce

Amber March-Bruce

My name is Amber and I’m and artist from Long Island NY now living in Beautiful Ocala! I’ve been surrounded by art and music my whole life and started my career in the arts in 2018 working on commissioned art, murals, refinishing furniture and residential painting. Art has a way to connect people together and to connect you to yourself. Art is in everything, and everywhere you look. I’m particularly drawn towards nature and the universe. It’s the unknown and the possibilities that inspire me. I do like to work with different mediums as well, such as; ink, paint, clay, fabric, plaster, and wood. Whatever I’m feeling in the moment is what I work with.
