About This Event

Every important pet in history has had its portrait painted, and your pet should be no different! We'll make it easy for you to paint your pet by pre-sketching your canvas based on a photograph of your pet.

Your pet's photograph needs to be focused, not pixellated or blurry and of high quality and high contrast (no black pets on black couches).The photo you send us will be the one you work from.

Please Email your pet picture to studio079@paintingwithatwist.com right after you reserve your seat. Any kind of animal is allowed; it does not have to be a dog or cat. You may only paint one pet per canvas, but you can come back next month and paint another pet until your whole family is immortalized in paint!

Our BYOB classes are for adult painters only; although we will permit painters aged 16+ if accompanied by an adult. Guests must be at least 21 to consume alcohol in the studio. We reserve the right to ask for identification.

Our studio is small! OBSERVERS and infants cannot be accommodated in any class.

If you'd like to be seated with another guest please let us know in the SPECIAL REQUEST section of registration. We cannot guarantee that we can make seating changes upon your arrival.
(If you’re coming with others, but making reservations separately, give us your group’s name or point person in the special request box. We’ll be sure to seat you together.)

ARRIVE 15 minutes early to get uncorked, smocked & in your seat! If you desire more time to unwind, visit with friends & breathe before we get twisted, we invite you to arrive up to 30 min prior to start time - it's your Happy Half-Hour!

LOCATION: We are located at 611 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19147. There is a paid parking lot located at 5th and Bainbridge and there is metered parking in the area. Please plan for traffic and parking issues.

Our studio is BYOB-friendly, with the exception of hard liquor which is not allowed. By law, you must be age 21+ to consume alcohol in our studio.

Refund/Cancellation

Please give us notice if you need to cancel your reservation. If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, then you will receive a store credit or a refund (minus a processing fee of $10 per seat). If you do not cancel and do not show up, then you will not receive a credit. Please leave a message if calling after hours.

Although rare, Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances.

No refunds/store credits will be given for Take Home Kits, pick-up is the responsibility of the guest.
