Devin is a fiber artist and painter with a strong interest in material culture. Originally from New England, Devin learned to paint at a young age, and has over 15 years of experience painting. She was attracted to the medium because of the discovery of the unexpected and magical qualities of color. She creates large scale, abstract works that focus on creating “colorscapes”and pointing out the curious interactions between color and texture. Her obsession with color led her to natural dying. She uses plants and insects to create color on fabric. She uses natural pigments and dyes to create work that is centered around nature, color, and healing. She is excited to be working at Painting with a Twist, sharing her love and awe of color with others. She hopes that painting will inspire others to understand themselves and the world around them in new ways.
Gaby opened Painting with a Twist in Boynton Beach in July 2016.
She added a second studio and became the new owner of Painting with a Twist Stuart/Jensen Beach in March 2020.
We bring the community together and creating lasting MEMORIES through ART and laughter.
Shelby Hart is a Martin County local and has been dabbling in different techniques and materials since college. She works as a high school Art educator by day, and moonlights as an artist at Painting with A Twist. A graduate of Florida State University, she has been trying new things in her home studio and loves to work with her hands.
Shelby’s aesthetic has found itself to center mainly on fruits, and technique studies, with a bit of sea life sprinkled in. It’s no secret that she loves a good avocado! ??
