Why book a private party or public party?
- You select your own masterpiece to paint from our collection of over 9,000 paintings. Plenty of child-friendly paintings to choose from.
- You get to select the time and date.
- No set up, no clean up - just show up! (you can bring any decorations you'd like, but our studio is pretty festive already & not much is needed, if anything)
- Guests may bring their snacks and drinks of choice.
- We gather all of the children together on the stage at the end of the party for group pictures - GREAT mementoes!
- Each participant will leave with their own painting - no need for goody bags!
- You bring in whatever cake / cupcakes / drinks you'd like. The most popular choices these days are cupcakes (no cutting, boxing up left-overs, etc) and juice boxes!

How much does it cost to hold a party at your studio?
Parties can be booked either for a two-hour session starting at $45.00 per person or a three-hour session starting at $50.00 per person. Children’s parties can be booked at $35.00 per person for 1.5 hour (12 and under) category.
We can bring the party to you for a nominal travel fee. We have traveled from Cullman to Montgomery!
Once the private party has been booked and the painting is selected, the host/hostess can also email or print custom invitation and guest can rsvp online.
When can I have a party?
7 days of the week & you name the time! (first come, first served and subject to artist availability)
Do I get to choose the painting for my party?
Yes, once your party is booked, an invitation to our online painting gallery is generated for you to view our painting selections.
We are happy to walk you through the process to make your party planning a breeze!
What is the minimum number needed for a party?
The minimum number for Private Party is 10 painters.
For an open party there is a minimum of 6 painters.
Don't have 6 painters, no worries you can join onto any of our regularly scheduled classes on our CALENDAR.
Our studio can accommodate up to 26 people, but can accommodate up to 100 on an off-site event.
Is there a deposit required? How do I choose my painting?
$150 deposit is required to secure time and date. Once booked, you'll be emailed a contract and a party management link. You'll use this link to choose your painting as well as see who's registered, make invitations, etc!
The host/hostess of the party can secure a reservation with a credit card. We require a 14-day cancellation notice in writing, by e-mail in the event your party needs to be cancelled.
Kid parties are super popular at Painting with a Twist!
Cost: $35/painter with a 6 person minimum for open party and 10 person minimum for private party. Adults as well as children are welcomed to paint for $35 during the child's party.
How much in advance do I need to schedule my party?
The sooner, the better! In some cases, we can book a party for you with less than 24-hour notice (full payment require to book with less than 24-hour notice).
What happens if I have to cancel or someone pays but can't come?
For additional information please refer to our cancellation policy. If a person or party is a no-show, no refunds will be given.
