Eloisa grew up in Mexico, and knew she wanted to be an artist from a very young age. She studied drawing and pastel painting at age 18, and at age 21 came to the United States to get her Bachelor's degree in graphic design, which she completed . While living in New York City, she studied drawing at the Art Students League, with artist Sherry Camhy. It was then she discovered her personal style in charcoal portrait drawing. During this time she also taught art at two elementary Catholic schools in East Harlem, and The Bronx. Her passion and mission in life is to experience art freely, and share this gift with the world.
This Texas gal showed an interest in art as a little girl and began managing a small art studio as a teen. She received a fine arts degree from Texas Tech (Wreck Em!) while working as a professional model and photographer. Her friends think she’s a gypsy because she easily gets cabin fever and often travels abroad to teach & study art. She is a full time middle school painting teacher, so art is her life! When she isn’t at work she enjoys hot yoga, time in the mountains with her husband and 3 huskies, reading books in her hammock, and singing Disney songs.
