Danna is an East Texas native who spent time in Katy, TX and Reno, NV. Danna has always been an artist in different mediums from flowers to painting murals. Although her background is in the medical field, her true calling has always been painting.
She enjoys the art of Edgar Degas and his use of light but also the bold, abstract colors of Wassily Kandinsky. Danna said," Teaching at PWAT is such a joy. Helping people realize that it really is easier than they think to paint in addition to being so much fun. I have to agree with Bob Ross. 'Everyday is a good day when you paint!'"
Lexie is a DFW native and would always follow along with the Bob Ross VHS recording with her Grandpa. Art seems to run in her family. Lexie enjoys Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings from the Edo period but her personal style follows a mix of American Pop Art and new age Japanese Manga. She is mostly self-taught but did learn a lot from family and several art courses at university. She prefers pen and ink drawings but has dabbled with other mediums. She enjoys PWAT because of the people. "I've met so many wonderful humans in the years I've worked here and lively nature of the studio makes me look forward to coming to work. It's a nice change from my engineering background; teaching people to paint is almost meditative." PS-hair color subject to change

Anna was born in Longview,TX but has enjoyed living in many places: including Oklahoma City, Savannah, GA, Spokane, WA and NOW, Dallas, TX. She was bitten by the creative bug early in life and truly learned how to paint after she auditioned for her first job at PWAT over 6 years ago. She likes the classic masters like Van Gogh, Monet and DaVinci as much as the next gal but truly loves an interesting piece of modern art. She took several art classes at the University of South Carolina but has learned the most from other artists she's had the opportunity to work with at PWAT. It's her absolute favorite thing about the studios along with seeing customers who have never put paint on canvas before, discover that it's not scary at all- it's a little bit of paint, a little bit of wine and a whole lot of fun!
