Our Indianapolis, IN Painting with a Twist Artists
Lyndsay loves to teach, and she loves to paint! She’s been painting since she was little and shows no signs of stopping. Her favorite subject to paint is the human figure, but when she’s not painting people, you’ll find her painting intricate designs and illustrations on canvas shoes for her etsy shop! She holds two Bachelor’s degrees from DePauw University (in Painting and Vocal Performance), and a Master of Music Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. That’s right, when she’s not here, she’s singing somewhere around town or teaching voice lessons!
If you are nervous about painting, Aarika is your teacher. She knows you can paint and will pass that confidence onto you. Recently retired from teaching in Kokomo, when not here painting and helping run the studio, she is at home enjoying being outside with her family and animals. Did I mention she is quite the work of art herself with her husband being an amazing tattoo artist?
Destiny’s classes are always fun and full of energy because she encourages everyone to have fun with their art. Believing that everyone is an artist, she will prove to you that you too have an inner artist just waiting to get out and play. When she isn’t here brightening all our lives, she is working on animations.
Beth is one of those people that you never know what to expect from. She can be warm and fuzzy, super sarcastic, or off the wall insane, but will always tell you the truth. And the truth is that you can paint, and she wants to help you unleash your painting abilities. Beth will always be the one to tell you that practice makes perfect and sense perfection is only an allusion there's no such thing as too much practice. So grab your paint brush if you're ready to paint in ways you never thought possible with Beth.
Kelsie loves painting, and she wants you to, too! With a degree in theater and a minor in music from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College, she’s sure to bring lots of spunk, sarcasm, and personality to class! She’s painted everything from faces to large theatre sets, so she has plenty of experience. She hopes you’ll join her for a fun-filled class!
Zoe is quirky and creative! Raised by artists, we are pretty sure that paint runs through her veins. Zoe loves first-time painters and enjoys introducing folks to their own creative spirit. Her classes are fun, light-hearted, and at least mildly entertaining. When she's not at the studio or producing personal artwork, she can be found teaching families about dinosaurs at a local museum or trying to make friends with a cat somewhere.
