Painting with a Twist FAQ

Q: What are the prices for a class? 

A: Two hour classes are offered for $35 and three hour classes for $45. Select Family Friendly classes offered for $25.

Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule? 

A: The following month's calendar is posted on the 15th of every month.

Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night? 

A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.

Q: At what time should I arrive for class? 

A: Fifteen to twenty minutes gives you plenty of lead time to uncork yourself and get settled.

Q: What happens if we are late to the class?

A:We are VERY STRICT about attendance! While we are here to have FUN, it is still a class setting and the nature of our business is time sensitive. Guests who arrive 10-15 minutes after the said start time of the painting class are often able to be caught up and continue. However, guests exceeding this 15 minute mark are often handled on a case by case basis, but often times are not allowed to start the painting. If you a guest attending a private party, feel free to pour yourself a glass and still socialize with your group. You will be offered a store credit to our location and can come back another day and experience the full TWIST for yourself in the future.

Q: Do you do reserved seating? 

A: Yes. We ask that you put your request in the comments section upon making your reservation online. If you are a group, we suggest picking on epoint person and having everyone type that person'e first & last name in the seating request box to avoid confusion and allow us to better prepare for the groups.

Q: Will you have wine openers and cups? 

A: Yes, we supply wine bottle openers and cups.

Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food? 

A: Yes, feel free to bring in a snack (finger foods are best) and any plates, napkins, etc. (think tailgate style!)

Q: What do I wear? 

A: Whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have aprons for you to help protect your clothing, but the paint is acrylic and can be tricky to get out in some cases. 

Q: Do I need a reservation? 

A: We strongly recommend reserving and paying online beforehand to secure you seat(s).

Q: What size is the canvas? 

A: We use a 16 x 20 inch canvas for most of our classes. However, we recently have added specialty classes on 12 x 12 inch canvas and mini canvas sets.

Q: Is there an age limit? 

A: As we are a B.Y.O.B. facility, those attending classes after 6 p.m. must be at least 18 years old. However, teenagers 13+ (who aren't quite comfortable in the kid's classes, but an't attend the evening classes) can attend afternoon classes before 6 p.m. 

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: NO REFUNDS are given for any no shows, cancellations, or late comers. We do, however, offer guests a store credit or gift certificate to use at a later date (at our Kendall location only). The credit doesn't expire. All we ask is that the guest call/email us a few days before the class they wish to attend so that we can successfully transfer the original credit.

 ***Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior whenever possible to class time and refunds will be processed.***
