Amber McIntyre

Amber McIntyre

Amber is a creative, fun and talented artist with her own funky style! Her classes enjoy her great teaching skills and sassy humor. She always has a positive attitude and a quick and witty comeback. Amber is someone you can count on who steps up when she is needed and has gone above and beyond many times for her fellow PWAT Team! She also is always up for any creative projects like painting fun aprons and cut outs for the studio, creating new paintings to offer our customers, and she also has designed and demonstrated artwork for numerous public PWAT events.
Apryl Woodley

Apryl Woodley

Hi I'm Apryl!! I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. First, I'm a happy mom of 2 teenage monsters (my most perfect creations lol!) I like to think that I'm cheerful and friendly and a little bit...strange. I absolutely love teaching! I have a degree in graphic design as well as a degree in welding. I have a passion for creating things; paintings, drawings, jewelry, crafts, and whatever other weird things that I think of. Most importantly...I LOVE my job! I truly look forward to every class. I genuinely really like seeing all of the different versions of the same painting...and how awesome it is when you guys take a painting home that you feel good about and are proud of. It does my heart good to know that I may have had a hand in that! Happy painting, friends! Hope to see you soon!!
Dave Britt

Dave Britt

Dave is a fan of short walks on the beach (have you tried walking on sand?!), Taco Tuesday, and bad puns. As studio manager he's also a fan of people having fun while at Painting With A Twist! So give him a call in the afternoon to book your party or make a reservation...but remember he has a strict no broccoli policy.
Frankie Baker

Frankie Baker

I'm a Pittsburgh Native or the preferred name, a Yinzer. I have been painting since as long back as I can remember. It has always been like second nature to me. I have no formal training but I'm no rookie. I originally worked for Painting with a Twist in 2013 when the Pittsburgh West studio first opened until 2015 and I have also worked briefly at the Washington location in 2016. To quote Alyssa Edward's from Ru Paul's Drag Race, "I'm back back back again!" During my time away from PWAT I have been raising my daughter Luna, married my best friend, Dean and had a second baby girl named Aria. I started selling and showcasing my own artwork. I have been featured in shows around Pittsburgh and Greensburg. And now I am so excited to come back, teach classes again and have fun painting with you! Joe Larson

Joe Larson

I moved to Pittsburgh in 1998 from Altoona, PA to attend the Art Institute and graduated with a degree in graphic design and absolutely fell in love with the city. I have experimented with many forms of art and had my work displayed in multiple galleries in Pittsburgh and across PA. I'm available for and have painted hundreds of pet portraits by commission for customers as far away as Australia and even had some of them published in various art reference books. Some of my favorite things include hanging out with my daughter and wife, Steelers football, playing along with Jeopardy (badly), making puns (also badly), and playing Scrabble (really well). I love painting and believe teaching others how to express themselves through painting helps me to be a better artist. I look forward to meeting you in class, telling bad dad jokes, and having fun with you guys on your night out making art. Check out my work on my website at JoeLarsonArtandStuff.com

Kirsten Rambo

Hello! I was born and raised here in Pittsburgh, I started drawing the second I was able to grip a marker (much to the stress of my mother, for her the worlds “permanent marker” are more like a challenge than a statement). I earned my bachelor’s in Studio Art from Mercyhurst University up in Erie PA. I have taught at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shady Side, and am working toward an art education degree through Cal U. When I’m not busy with school or painting anything I can get my hands on, I am a field hockey coach and day dreamer. I have always loved the process of art making and want to share that with anyone who wants to learn. Cheers!
Rachel Herman

Rachel Herman

Rachel is a sweet and talented artist. Her classes love her for her fun, relaxed and cool attitude and her talented painting skills. She is super helpful with her customers and makes sure they all leave the studio happy. She is always reliable and willing to help out when needed or offer some ideas for improvement. She has created numerous paintings to feature on our monthly calendar and also participates in offsite events regularly. Her kind heart and ability to connect with others not only shines in the studio and with her classes, but also will be a strength for her as she studies to be an art therapist.
