Thank you for your interest in hosting a Private Party at Painting with a Twist ~ Sandy Springs!

What type of parties can I host?

This is a unique experience for ANY celebration. Whether you’re planning a Birthday Party with your family and friends, a Team Building adventure with your co-workers, a Bachelorette Party, Family Reunion, Girl's Night Out or just a fun evening out, our studio is a great environment for any social event.

Please let us know you're interested in a private paint and sip party by filling out our online form here.  You can also text PARTY to 470-294-2926, call us or send us an email to studio277@paintingwithatwist.com.  Once we receive your information, we'll follow up with you to confirm date, time, and the artwork that you'd like for your party.  

Off-site parties are also available (in-home or outside). Please note, we require a minimum of 20 painters fo an off-site event.  Please be sure to include as much information as you can in the online form to book a private art and wine party!online form to book a private art and wine party!

 What do you provide?

We provide paint, brushes, easels, canvases and aprons, all the necessary art supplies to complete your individual masterpiece!

We supply plastic glasses, wine bottle openers, and buckets for ice. WE DO NOT HAVE ICE, so bring some if you need it.

What can I bring?

Our studio is BYOB. Feel free to bring any type of food and beverage that you like, if you like. You can roll in a cooler full of your favorites or hire a caterer. Our studio is licensed for beer, wine and champagne products. We are NOT licensed for hard alcohol.

You show up and we'll clean up. It's that simple.

Why book a party?

  1. You get to choose from any of over 10,000 paintings - some are 2 hour and some are 3 hour classes.
  2. You get a private party room with your own artist.

  4. It's the same price as a regular class.

When can I have a party?

7 days of the week & you name the time (10am-10pm), subject to artist availability.

Kids' parties ages 5-10 may be booked 10am-6pm Mon-Fri and 10am-3pm Sat-Sun. Minimum age to paint at our studio is 5. Children's parties are not allowed during evening hours.

 

Cute ideas for your party...

 

You may bring your choice of light appetizers and drinks.  Birthday cakes, tailgate snacks, adult beverages.  Have the refreshements suit your event. Use the image of the painting throughout the event planning process.  Although all art is subject to copy write protection, we do allow the use of the image for invitations, decorations, and cakes.  Please ask us about the reproduction of the image in any other instance related to your private event.  Bakeries have come up with adorable represenations of the painting taught at a private party on cakes and cupcakes.

What is the minimum and the maximum capacity?

The minimum number of guests required for a private party is 10-15 depenidng on the time of your party. Our main party room capacity is 60 people and our private party room capacity is 35.  We have one of the largest paint and sip studios in Atlanta.  Ask us about booking our entire studio for our next party.

 

What is the cost and is there a deposit for a party?

Private parties can be booked either for a two-hour session at $37.00 per person or a three-hour session at $47.00 per person. Children's parties, age 5-10, can be booked at $27.00 per person for a 1.5 hr session if the painting selection is chosen from PWAT's 1.5 hour (10 and under) category.

A three seat deposit is required to reserve a private party and party minimums must be paid at least one week in advance.

 

** For weekday, (Sunday-Thursday) Private Parties, you will be responsible for a minimum of 10 paid guests.
** For weekend, (Friday and Saturday) Private Parties, prior to 7pm, you will be responsible for a minimum of 10 paid guests.
** For weekend nights, (Friday and Saturday) Private Parties, (7pm and later) you will be responsible for a minimum of 10 paid guests. 

If you have a total of 20 paid guests at your Party, you as the Host will receive a Painting with a Twist Gift Certiicate of equal class value towards a future class!  YaY!

 

How much in advance do I need to schedule my party?

The sooner, the better! We book on a first come first serve basis!

How do I know which painting I can choose for my party?

Once your private party is booked an invitation to our online painting gallery is generated to view our painting selections.  

What's an Open Party?

So maybe you don’t have the minimum number of people to have a Private Party, No worries!  Sign up your small group in a regularly scheduled class. When making your reservation, give your group a unique name, (“Ann’s Birthday Party”) and have each attendee include the group name in the “Sitting with anyone else?” field of the reservation. We’ll prepare a section especially for you, and your friends! It’s a party in a party! No contracts, no deposits, no hassles.
