What is Painting With A Twist?

We are a fun arts and crafts studio with a bar! We supply everything needed to complete your masterpiece, including instruction from a talented local artist. No experience is necessary. Sign up for a guided class or Pop In for some DIY fun. Uncork your inner artist! Grab your friends, purchase your favorite beverage from our bar, and enjoy the pARTy.

Do you take walk-ins for your public classes?

Prepaid reservations are required save you a seat, prepare materials, and hire staff.

How can I make a reservation?

Visit our events calendar and click on the picture you would like to paint to book your reservation online. Or call us at 719.591.2455 to purchase seats over the phone. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled class begins to allow time for check-in and place your drink orders. If you would like to upgrade your experience by making a DIY candle, please arrive 30 minutes prior to class time.

** Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the artist, postpone the class, or cancel a class for unforeseen circumstances. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled by our office 3 hours prior to the start time, in which case the event will be removed from our calendar. **

Where are you located?

We are located on the NW corner of Powers and Constitution in the Kohls/Safeway shopping center between Einstein’s and Helen’s Nails (behind Wells Fargo).

What can I bring?

You can bring your own non-alcoholic beverages and snacks if you'd like, but we carry a large variety of these in our store. Due to Colorado law we cannot allow guests to BYOB.

What if I don't finish my painting?

Once a month, artists will be available to guide you through the rest of your painting in our S.O.S class. This event is free, but please make a reservation online because seats are limited. You can find the next upcoming date on our event calendar. If you need extra time but not an artist's help, feel free to come in during our Pop In hours to DIY a little touch up.

I'm interested in a private party.

What is your age policy?

Unless noted on specific events, here are our age recommendations: Pop In hours to DIY are great for 3+. 1.5hr long classes are great for those aged 6+. 2hr classes are better for 12+. Guests under 16 must always have an adult in the studio with them.

What is Painting with a Purpose?

In our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Painting with a Twist proudly sponsors a monthly fundraising class - Painting with a Purpose. 50% of the proceeds from the Painting with a Purpose event are donated to local non-profit organization. Contact us if you know of an organization that could use a little ‘Pay it Forward’.

What is your cancellation policy?

*NO REFUNDS* All sales are final.

We hire artists and prepare supplies based on reservations. Thank you for understanding our policy must remain firm and supports small business in our community.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so asap so that another individual has the opportunity to make a reservation in your place. We are happy to offer store credit to use on a future class or a take home kit if you cancel your reservation no later than 2hrs before the scheduled class start time. Store credit will expire 6 months from the date of issuance.

No shows will not receive store credit. Sorry, but no exceptions.

Rescheduling - We have a 4 seat minimum and may reschedule an event 3hrs prior if the minimum is not met. Store credits will be issued and guests will be notified by phone.
