Hi, my name is Robert, and work at Painting With A Twist in Columbus, GA. I’m a believer in the 3 “F’s of life…Fun, Family…and Food! While the third doesn't have much to do with this studio the first two are crucial in how I do business. This studio is where I spend a majority of my day, and it is important to me that my personality reflects where I spend my time. This studio; much like myself, is an upbeat and always welcoming place that breaths positivity as soon as you walk through our doors. I have been fortunate enough to not just have an amazing family, but also able to build my own through close friendships doing things in life that I love. And that is what this studio can be for you; a place where you bring your family, forge your friendships, and have fun in the process! Stop by, I look forward to meeting you!
Hi, I'm Alex. I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri. I have a passion for intaglio and lithography so I emphasized in Printmaking while in school. I love the long processes and meticulous practices usually involved in printmaking. I also enjoy working in a variety of different media, including performance art, painting, and book arts. While at Webster, I had the opportunity to study in Vienna, Austria and travel throughout Europe. The many galleries and museums I visited while over there sparked an interest in curation. I worked in a gallery in St. Louis where I was able to work closely with other artists. I later went on to curate an all female exhibition during Women's History month. This show served as a catalyst for discussions on a number of women's issues, many of which I reflect upon in my own work. I focus on femininity, trauma, and memory. I enjoy sharing my love of art with others and hope to inspire them to create as well.
