Our Denver, CO - Lakewood Painting with a Twist Artists

Bren

Bren

Hi! I’m Bren- MSU Denver art student by day, color wizard by night. I’m new around here, but don’t worry- I came ready to rock your socks off in our class (even the fuzzy ones). I believe art should be loud, weird, joyful, messy, and pretty magical at the same time- kind of like me :) Let’s make some art that feels like a good song.

Brian

Emily

Brought up in a Japanese/British household in the UK, Emily graduated with a BA in Performing Arts and promptly moved to France and later China, where she spent 9 years parading around, with a mouse as her boss, at Disney. Find her today living a colourful life decked in gaudy patterns, doting over her baby boy and dog, while discovering Colorado one mountain and micro brewery at a time.

Kylie

Hi, I'm Kylie! I am a graduate from the University of Denver with a degree in Emergent Digital Practices and a minor in Marketing. I love combining creativity with communication through graphic design. Outside of work, you can usually find me crocheting or hunting for fun trinkets at the thrift store.

Mei Mei

Mei Mei

Hi everyone! I’m Mei Mei, and I am thrilled to join the Painting with a Twist team as your new Manager. I  graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Art, where I specialized in oil painting and printmaking. My background is a mix of hands-on art instruction and high-volume retail management, so I’m passionate about creating a workspace that is both highly organized and creatively inspiring. I believe leadership is a two-way street, and I can’t wait to support this talented team as we help our guests find their inner artist!

Shannon

Shannon

Shannon here, let’s make some memories together! Painting has been my passion for over the last 15 years and I can’t wait to spark creativity within our guests at Painting With a Twist. Aside from the arts, I love spending time in nature, exploring the city, and dancing in the kitchen with my pup while trying out new recipes.

Shortcake

Shortcake is our resident studio dog! She is a sweetie pie lover girl and would love for you to stop by and give her attention. Or cookies. Or both!

Tristyn

Tristyn

Tristyn Joyce. Artist, traveler, collector of oddly beautiful things, and someone who genuinely can’t choose between whimsical forest vibes and haunted attic aesthetics. I spend most of my time making things with my hands, listening to music too loudly, and getting emotionally attached to color palettes. My art style is mostly creepy, cute, and nature-inspired. I also fully believe snacks and emotional support beverages are essential creative tools.
