Q: What is the parking situation in Jenkintown?
A: We are directly across the street from a municipal parking lot and there is a kiosk at the entrance of the lot which will take coins, dollar bills or credit/debit cards Cost is $.25 per hour and free after 8:00 PM. Also free all day Sunday and Wednesdays after 5:00 PM. Street parking also available but meters take only quarters - all other regulations are the same (free on Wednesday night, Sunday and after 8:00PM)
Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: The price for a 2 hour class is $37.00 or $39.00 based on canvas size. The price for a 3 hour class is $45.00. Children's art is 1.5 hours and $27.00. We also offer wine glasses at (two at $35) as well as shiplap and real pine wood board for $39 to $49.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: We do require reservations with payment to secure seats and we require a 24 hour cancellation to receive a store credit. No calls/no shows will not be issued store credit or refunds. Groups of 6 or more must cancel 5 days before the date of the class. (After hours please leave an e-mail at email@example.com or voice message at 215-277-5861).
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: Arriving 10-15 minutes early is recommended to get uncorked, smocked & in your seat! If you desire more time to unwind, we invite you to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to start time- it's your Happy Half Hour!
Q: When do you post your next month's calendar?
A: Our calendar posts the 10th of the prior month.
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers, plastic cups, paper plates and napkins - We DO NOT provide ice or utensils.
Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food?
A: Yes, feel free to bring in refreshments. Finger foods are highly recommended as there is insufficient time or space for foods that require utensils. We ask that you do not bring any crock pots, fondue makers, or hot plates.
Q: What do I wear?
A: We provide aprons for each participant but recommend you wear whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we can accommodate up to 48 people in our Warhol studio and 24 in our Rothko studio. Our upstairs Loft space accommodates 36 but is not handicap accessible (there are approximately 18 steps). Please see our PartyInfo page for more details.
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We use a 16 x 20 inch canvas for most events but we also offer 10 x 30, 12 x 12 as well as wine glasses, ship lap pallets and pine wood bords in several sizes.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes. We invite guests 15 years and older to attend our regular night sessions. Guests under 15 years old will have to be accompanied by an adult to all sessions but, regardless, they are not permitted in adult classes. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. PLEASE NOTE - this is a relaxing activity so we cannot allow infants or very small children in public classes even children's classes.
Q: Can children under 15 years old paint?
A: Yes. Our sessions have age recommendations in the party descriptions. Guests 12 and older are always welcome at any of our daytime sessions. Family Days are available for younger children. Private parties are a fabulous way to include guests of all ages. Again, please know that adult supervision is always required and children under 15 may not attend evening adult classes. PLEASE NOTE - this is a relaxing activity so we cannot allow infants or very small children in public classes even children's classes.
Q: Is tipping permitted?
A: While tipping is not required it is always appreciated.
