What is the difference between a Twist at Home Painting kit and a Virtual Live Painting Event?

Twist at Home kits come with their own list of painting options. You can find all Twist at Home options here. All options come with supplies needed to complete your painting and detailed written instructions. Some of the more challenging paintings even come with a Vimeo link to view a recorded video tutorial.
Virtual Live Events are taught by my artist live via Zoom. Supplies kits are picked up at our studio prior to the event. No detailed written instructions are provided in these kits as we are teaching the event step-by-step as if you are enjoying an event in our studio.

What is an Open Party?

Open Parties are offered any day of the week at any time. If you would like to select your own painting and date/time, this is the option for you! All you need is 6 guests. Payment for 6 reservations is due within 24 hours of booking. You will have your own VIP section set up in your class that will include a stainless steel beverage/snack table all to yourselves. Once the class is booked and a painting selected, we will open it to the public to join. Open Party reservations cannot be canceled to receive store as there is a 6 reservation minimum requirement for us to put the class on the calendar for you. All sales are final.

Do I need to pay before the class, or can I pay when I arrive?

Yes! Prepaid reservations are necessary. Only paid reservations are guaranteed seats in our classes. You may pay online, over the phone or in-studio ahead of time.

Can someone that is not painting join me?

No. Only those with paid reservations are permitted to attend our classes. 

Do you offer group rates or discounts?

Our prices are already based on group rates, so everyone gets to enjoy our great prices whether coming in a group or by yourself! We have a Paint Points rewards program to reward our loyal guests. We also offer a Military Discount of $5 per Military ID holder. In order to receive the discount, you must come to the studio to reserve your seat prior to the scheduled class. We WILL NOT refund your credit card by $5 if you purchase the seat online.

Can we come alone or do we need to have a group?

All are welcome in our studio. Who knows... you may just make some new friends.

Can I paint whatever I want?

We will provide step by step instructions for the scheduled painting only. If you want to do your own thing, go for it, but there will not be step by step guidance on how to complete it.

How do I join a class?

Simply visit our calendar, click on the title of the painting class you want to join and follow the simple payment process.

How do I sign up a group to attend a class?

Option 1: Select the number of seats you want to reserve for the specific class online and pay online.

Option 2: Ask everyone in your group to reserve individually online and to specify group name or point person in the "Special Requests" box.

My friends are signing up separately, how can I be sure we will be seated together for class?

Just add their names in the "special requests" section of the payment process and we will have you seated together. 

What are the prices of the classes?

Our 2-hour classes are $35-$45 per person, 3-hour classes are $45 per person, and all ages 1.5 hour classes are $27. Custom Art classes are $55-$65 per painter. (All art supplies included)

Can we bring anything other than wine?

Beer or wine and snacks are allowed!

What is the difference between an Open Party and a Private Party?

Open Party - 6 (non-refundable) paid reservations due within 24 hours of booking. You pick the painting and we open the class to the public to join. Available any day/night of the week subject to room availability.

Private Party - 12 (non-refundable) paid reservations due 2 weeks prior to the event. You pick the painting and get your own private room. Available any day/night of the week subject to room availability.

Can I arrive early to set up for my party?

You sure may! Private and Open Parties are able to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the class.

When will the next month's calendar be out?

On the 1st of every month we publish the next month's calendar.

What is provided with the cost of the class?

All painting supplies and artist are included. We also provide wine cups, bottle openers and corkscrews.

Do we get to take our painting home that day?

Yes! We finish the painting within the time designated and it's ready to hang by the time you get home!

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! Well sell plastic gift cards in the studio. Or, purchases may also be made online in the comfort of your home or office. Gift cards do not expire - available in any amount - non-refundable. Gift cards may be used at any Painting with a Twist nationwide. Click here to purchase online. 

Do you offer kids classes?

Yes, even though we are mainly geared towards adults, we do add "All Ages" classes to our calendar. The class title will include the phrase "All Ages" in it when it is a class kids are welcome to join. We recommend a minimum age of 6 to be able to complete the paintings on their own but younger painters are welcome to join with the assistance of an adult.

Do you also offer morning or afternoon classes?

Yes, we can add classes upon request depending on calendar availability. Call or see the Party Info page for more information on Open Parties. 

Do you offer Offsite parties?

Yes, we will come to your home or the venue of your choice. See the Party Info tab for more information.
