No painting experience is necessary! Your group will spend time together, enjoy your favorite food and drinks, and create artwork you get to take home.
And because it's your private party, your group gets to choose the painting!
After booking, we'll send you access to our art library so you can choose the perfect painting for your group.

The Classic Painting with a Twist Experience
Your group selects one painting, and one of our talented artists guides everyone through it step-by-step.
It's relaxed, social and fun—even if you've never painted before!
Starting at $39/person
Private in-studio parties include:
- Your choice of painting from our art library
- Step-by-step instruction from a professional artist
- 30 minutes before painting for your group to arrive and get settled
- 30 minutes after painting for wrapping up and cleanup
- Plates, napkins, plastic cups and corkscrews
- The ability to bring your own food, snacks and beverages
Open-Studio Private Party
Everyone Paints What They Want!
Want everyone in your group to paint something different?
With our Open-Studio experience, each guest chooses their own painting and follows written instructions.
This is a self-guided experience rather than a step-by-step class. Our artist will be available to answer questions and provide assistance.
We recommend that guests have attended at least one regular guided Painting with a Twist class before choosing Open Studio.
Artwork selections must be submitted at least 3 days before your event.
Virtual Private Party
Paint Together From Anywhere!
Enjoy a private Painting with a Twist party with friends, family or coworkers from the comfort of your own homes.
Virtual parties are hosted through Zoom and are a great option when your guests aren't all in the same location.
- 10-person minimum
- No maximum group size
- Each participant must have a Painting with a Twist at Home Kit
- Pickup and shipping options are available
- Kit pickup and distribution are coordinated when you book your event
Virtual parties: $39–$59/person, depending on surface selection and pickup or shipping.
Shipped kits must be ordered at least 8 days before your event.
Offsite Private Party
Let Us Bring the Party to You!
We'll bring everything you need to paint at your location, including:
- Canvases
- Easels
- Disposable aprons
- Paint
- Brushes
Offsite parties are a great option for corporate events, sorority events, community events and other celebrations.
Tables, chairs and floor coverings are not provided. A hold-harmless agreement is required.
Offsite events are regular party pricing plus a travel fee:
- $110 travel fee for locations within 15 miles of the studio
- $130 travel fee for locations more than 15 miles from the studio
- Please contact us for locations 25+ miles away
- $50 additional fee for offsite parties of 25+ guests

Additional party time can be added in 30-minute increments to the beginning or end of your party.

We provide:

Coolers are welcome. Please bring your own ice and any specialty cups, utensils or other items you may need.
Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.
Our standard party time is intended for light snacks and drinks. If you're planning a meal, pizza, cake, presents or additional activities, we recommend adding extra party time so your group doesn't feel rushed.
Party Requirements & Pricing
Guest Minimums
Our standard minimum is 10 guests, with the following exceptions:
6 guests minimum
Monday–Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
12 guests minimum
Friday & Saturday after 5 PM
Kids' parties are not available Friday or Saturday after 5 PM.
Private Party Pricing
In-Studio 2-hour events: $39–$49/person, depending on package and surface selection
In-Studio 3-hour events: $49–$59/person, depending on package and surface selection
Paint Your Pet: $59/person
Virtual 2-hour events: $39–$59/person, depending on surface selection and pickup or shipping
Offsite events: Regular party pricing plus applicable travel fees
Your final price will depend on your selected party package, painting surface and any upgrades.
How Does the Party Deposit Work?
A 3-seat deposit is required to reserve your private party.
Your deposit is not an additional fee. It is applied directly toward your final party balance.
The deposit amount is based on the per-person price of your selected party package.

Want More Time to Celebrate?
Every private party includes 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled painting time for arrival, light snacking, socializing and cleanup.
For example:
7:00–9:00 PM Painting Party
6:30 PM — Arrive and get settled
7:00 PM — Painting begins
9:00 PM — Painting ends
9:30 PM — Party wraps up
Planning a meal, cake, presents or additional activities?
Additional time can be purchased for $30 per 30 minutes and added to the beginning or end of your party.
Groups of 25+
For in-studio groups of 25 or more, a $30 large-party fee applies. Your group may arrive up to one hour before the scheduled painting time instead of the standard 30 minutes.
Additional party time may also be purchased if needed.
How to Book Your Party
1. Request Your Date
Submit our private party request form and let us know what you're planning.
All party dates are subject to artist availability.
2. Reserve Your Party
A 3-seat deposit based on your selected party package is required to reserve your date. This deposit is applied toward your total party balance.
3. Choose Your Painting
Once your party is booked, we'll send you access to our art library so you can choose the perfect painting for your group.

4. Invite Your Guests
You can either pay for everyone yourself, or we can provide you with a private link and passcode so your guests can reserve and pay for their own seats individually.
5. Show Up & Have Fun!
Bring your people, your favorite food and drinks, and get ready to create something together!
Cancellation Policy
In-Studio Private Parties
Our 72-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced.
For a full refund, please provide at least 72 hours' notice.
For cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice, store credit may be issued, minus the first three deposit seats.
No-shows without contact will not receive a refund or store credit.
Virtual Private Parties
Our 72-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced.
For cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice, store credit may be issued.
Once Painting with a Twist kits have been picked up from the studio or shipped, no refunds may be issued.
Please note that shipped kits must be ordered at least 8 days before the event.
Please Arrive on Time
Painting begins promptly at the scheduled time.
We recommend that hosts and guests arrive 15–30 minutes before painting begins so everyone has time to get settled.
For example, if your party is scheduled for 7:00–9:00 PM, please plan to arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 PM.
Because our artist teaches the painting step-by-step, guests arriving late may not be allowed to participate and payment may be forfeited.
