Inspiring Young Minds One Book and Brushstroke at a Time

Thank You for Supporting “Pause and Paint”

At Painting with a Twist Roseville, creativity has always been about more than paint on a canvas — it’s about inspiring confidence, joy, and imagination in our community’s children. That’s why creating the Pause and Paint Program with Patterson Elementary School was such a meaningful experience for me personally and professionally.

During the month of March, in celebration of National Reading Month, we partnered with Patterson Elementary to encourage students to discover the magic that comes from reading. The idea behind Pause and Paint was simple: reward young minds for their dedication, imagination, and hard work through creativity and art.

Students spent the month reading, learning, and challenging themselves book by book. The excitement throughout the school was incredible as classrooms worked together toward one shared goal — reading the most books for a chance to win a special field trip experience at Painting with a Twist Roseville.

I’m so excited to congratulate the winning classroom for their amazing accomplishment!  As a reward for their hard work and commitment to reading, the students were treated to a FREE afternoon of painting, laughter, and creativity at our studio.

Watching these students walk through our doors full of excitement and pride was truly heartwarming. They painted with confidence, encouraged one another, laughed nonstop, and created beautiful masterpieces that reflected their unique personalities. Most importantly, they learned that reading and creativity go hand in hand — both allow children to dream, explore, and express themselves.

A huge thank you to the teachers, staff, students, and families at Patterson Elementary School for embracing this program and making it such a success. Your support, enthusiasm, and dedication to literacy made this partnership unforgettable.

At Painting with a Twist Roseville, we believe in creating experiences that uplift and inspire our community, and this is only the beginning for the Pause and Paint Program. I look forward to expanding this initiative and continuing to celebrate young readers through art and creativity in the future.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special journey.

With gratitude,
