Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: The price for a 2 hour class is $39-$48 (depending on surface choice).The price for a 3 hour class is $45.00-$68 (depending on surface choice).
Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: The calendar for the upcoming month is posted on the 15th of every month.
Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes, if there are a few damp places we have hair dryers that will dry them quickly.
Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: We recommend you arrive 15-30 minutes before class time so that you have time to check in, relax, and mingle before instruction starts. Instruction begins promptly at the designated time. Late arrivals may not be able to finish the painting in the alloted time.
Q: Do you do reserved seating?
A: Yes and you can request that you be seated with friends.
Q: Will you have wine openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine openers and cups.
Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food?
A: Yes, feel free to bring in a snack.
Q: What do I wear?
A: What ever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We will have aprons for you to wear.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Yes. You may reserve online or via telephone. All payments for online reservations are processed at the time the reservation is made. We do request a credit card for reservations made via telephone. To receive a refund, a reservation must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to the scheduled class start time. Cancelation notifications received less than 24 hours before the class will receive a store credit. If we have a no show/no cancellation, then the credit card that holds the reservation will be charged.
Q: Should I tip the Instructor/Assistant?
A: Tips are not expected, but if you have had an exceptional time, you are welcome to tip the Artist and Assistant. They will be thrilled.
Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, with a minimum of 10 painters (minimum of 15 on Friday & Saturday Nights beginning after 5pm) you may request a private party. Please see our Party Info tab for more details.
Q: What size is the surfaces?
A: We use a 16 x 20, 11x14, 10x30, 12x12, and 24x36 inch canvases. We also use 16x20, 10.5x26, 10.5x46 wood boards and a Shiplap pallet.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes, the age limit is 15 years old to attend a regular evening class. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.
Q: Can children under 15 years old paint?
A: Yes. Kids classes are offered a few times a month at our studio, for ages 6 and above. We also offer some Kids Classes after school, on weekends, and during holiday vacations. We offer a Kids Camp each summer. Private Parties are also another avenue to accommodate younger children.
Q:What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation of a reservation for a class must be made 24 hours in advance to receive a refund. Cancellations received the day of a class will receive a store credit in the form of a gift certificate. No shows for a class will forfeit their payment or the credit card holding their reservation will be charged the amount of the class. Please call us at 813-839-2409 to cancel a reservation.
