Art has been my passion since I learned to hold a crayon. Whether sketching cartoon characters in my third-grade math notebook or volunteering to paint life-size murals on the walls of my high school, I have made it a point to incorporate art into my everyday life as much as possible. Since a young age, I have been fascinated with the entire creative process, from design conception to artistic completion. I turned that fascination into a lifelong career by pursuing a degree in Studio Art at the University of Florida. Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! Ever since I was a kid, art has been my passion. I was the one staying after school to clean the art room just so I could be surrounded by creativity a little longer. That love for making things never faded—it only grew. I studied visual arts at the University of South Florida and have been creating ever since, working with everything from painting and drawing to resin, jewelry, digital design, and miniatures. I find inspiration everywhere—nature, animals, abstract forms, landscapes, and my faith—but what I love most is creating for others. Whether it's a custom piece that brings someone's vision to life or a design that simply makes someone smile, art is my way of spreading joy. Seeing my work resonate with people is what keeps me going.

I began being tuned into the art realm when 5 year-old me decided to pick up a pen and paper to illustrate my surroundings. Even while sitting in front of the TV I’d have my sketch book nearby to draw what I saw. As I got older, my passion and love for illustrating never ceased. By middle/high school I was heavily involved in the Art Department; painting set pieces for theater, designing stage makeup, making digital artworks for a gallery, and even painting doors for the band hallways. Art has been such a huge part of my life that I decided to pursue it as a career. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Emerging Media at the University of Central Florida. I strive to share the joy Art has brought to my life with the customers of Painting with a Twist!

Hi, I’m Nadira! I was born and raised right here in Central Florida. When I was younger, I always found peace, comfort, and joy through painting. I started messing around with paint when I was about eleven-years-old. From there on, I fell deeply in love with the process. Drawing. Colors. Mixing. Layers. Blending. Painting became not only my favorite hobby, but also a major part of who I am. While attending the University of North Florida, I minored in painting and drawing. I developed a preference for natural landscapes including subjects like beaches, flowers, and trees. As a Polk County native, I am greatly inspired by the lakes, ridges, and vast grass fields that surround us. Now, here at Painting with a Twist in Winter Haven, FL, I can’t wait to share the love and joy of painting with all of you!

Hi, I’m Candice! At a young age, I already had a love for art, but it wasn’t until high school that I discovered a deep passion for the arts and couldn’t imagine a future without it. Over the years, my love for the arts has grown, being fascinated by its rich history and enjoying experimenting with various mediums such as painting, pottery, sculpture, and inkwork, just to name a few. I’m currently pursuing an Emerging Media degree at UCF, while also creating personal paintings on my own time. Painting, in particular, is very dear to me, and I hope to share the joy that painting has brought to my life with the customers at Painting with a Twist! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
