Why book a Painting Party?

We offer three types of private parties 

  • In-Studio

  • Virtual 

  • Off-Site 


Benefits of Private Party  

  • Streamlined booking process. 

  • The minimum number of painters is 9 (daytime & weekday evenings (M-Th) in-studio) or 12 (Fri evening & weekends in-studio) and 12 (all Virtual & Offsite)

  • Guests can schedule their party any day of the week, space permitting. We have morning, afternoon, and evening slots available.

  • Guests select the art to paint from our collection of over 17,000 paintings. 

  • No setup, no clean-up - just show up!

  • We provide all of the art supplies and FUN!

  • Guests can have the ability to select different surfaces to paint on, depending on availability (pricing vary).  Guests can upgrade their class to a Specialty class (prices vary) like adding BLACKLIGHT, Paint Your Pet, etc.  Please contact the studio for more information. 


Private Party Costs 

Costs for private parties can range from $32 - $67 per painter depending on the type of party, length of a painting session, location of the event, and the surface.  Parties are priced based on 1.5 - 3 hour blocks of time.  This price is for the painting event only.  If you plan on having refreshments -  additional costs will be incurred.  Off-site parties may be charged an additional trip charge.   

Private parties are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 3-seats.  The deposit does get applied to your total party cost - it is not an additional cost. 


Private Party Cancellation Policy 

We understand that the current health and safety of the public may require last-minute cancellations for in-studio experiences. Please note, no persons may enter the studio if they feel ill, have a fever, or have been in contact with those known to have COVID-19. Masks are required to enter the studio. If you need to cancel your reservation, we ask for as much notice as possible. We will issue STORE CREDIT for cancellations. The STORE CREDIT will be for the full amount paid for the class. There is NO EXPIRATION DATE for your STORE CREDIT and it can be used at any time. Should it become necessary for us to cancel a class, we will contact you and you will receive a STORE CREDIT for the full amount of your reservation. We do not offer refunds. 



OUTSIDE DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED!   We are NOT a BYOB and do not allow outside beverages or drinking containers.  Per NM Law-It is a criminal violation to bring any type of alcohol onto this premises. If you wish to purchase alcohol you must BRING a valid ID.  We serve wine, beer, & non-alcoholic drinks.



YES, feel free to bring in your favorite snacks to enjoy during class! Remember you are painting most of the time so finger foods are best!  Please remember to bring plates, utensils, and serving ware with you.

In-Studio Party Specifics

  • We schedule private parties any day or evening. 

  • The minimum is 9-12 guests depending on the time and day you select with a maximum of 48!  



Virtual Private Party Specifics 

  • We schedule private parties any day or evening. 

  • Each participant needs to have a Twist at Home Kit, prior to attending the event. The pickup and distribution of supplies are coordinated when you book your event.

  • Each guest will need access to a computer, a functioning camera, a microphone to communicate with the instructor and guests, and the internet. 

  • The minimum is 12 people and the maximum can be as many as you want! Virtual is a flexible option if you have a large group.

  • In your kit, you will receive your surface of your choice (selected when registering), plenty of each paint color needed, brand new brushes, disposable apron, water cup, palette plate, napkin, table covering, and the link for your ZOOM meeting which comes in your reservation confirmation. 

  • Due to the nature of packaging and creating kits, no returns or credits can be given once the kit has been picked up.


Off-Site Party Specifics 

  • The location of offsite events must be approved by corporate as we are part of a franchise system.  

  • We schedule off-site private parties any day or evening. 

  • The minimum is 12 guests and there in no maximum!  Offsite fee of $150 until minimum of 35 paid guests is met.

  • Painting with a Twist does not supply tables, chairs, floor or table covering, or electronic equipment.
