About This Event

18+ ONLY
Stretch your creative muscles at this CANVAS SWAP event! You'll pair up with a partner, your instructor will choose a theme, and get started painting. No pressure to do well-- this is all in good fun as an exercise in creativity. Then, every fifteen minutes, you'll swap surfaces with your partner! You'll see what beautiful monstrosities come up at the end of the class!

This studio is BYOB, which means you can sip your favorite drink and snack on goodies while painting the night away. Must be 21+, have state ID ready. Want your group to sit together? Just let us know your party’s name when you book! Ready to join the fun? Book and pay ahead (online, by phone at 225-927-7077, or swing by the studio) at least two hours before class time—sorry, walk-ins NOT allowed.
Refund & Cancellation Policy: Call/text 504-832-5536 or email metairie@paintingwithatwist.com. We can’t offer refunds after you book, but with 24 hours’ notice, we’ll email you a studio credit! If you miss the party entirely ("no show"), no refund or credit will given, so don’t skip out! If Mother Nature throws a curveball—if classes get cancelled due to weather or other wild events (hurricanes, floods, power outages—you name it!), we’ll send you studio credit by email. No refunds for acts of God, but out-of-towners can grab a Twist at Home kit or transfer credit to a friend! Painting with a Twist keeps things exciting! We may change artists, reschedule, or cancel classes if something unexpected pops up. If there are fewer than four painters signed up, we might need to cancel—but don’t worry, you’ll get advance notice.

Alcohol permitted for ages 21 and up. You may bring finger foods & drinks with you! We do not provide ice. You may be asked for proof of age at any time by our employees if we suspect that you are not 21 or older. cups or napkins, only corkscrews.

Refund/Cancellation

REFUND/CANCELLATION: ONLY a store credit will be given for persons canceling with at least 24 hrs notice. If you are more than 20 minutes late to the class you may not be allowed to paint & your payment will be forfeited. No shows will not receive a refund or store credit - NO EXCEPTIONS. To cancel, call or text 225-927-7077.

BAD WEATHER: If a weather emergency is declared due to poor weather conditions and the roads are unsafe to travel on, classes may be cancelled. In this case ONLY a non-expiring store credit will be issued. No refunds will be issued for acts of God or other circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages etc. Guests that live out of town may purchase a Twist at Home kit or transfer the credit to another person. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the artist, postpone the class, or cancel a class for unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, we will ONLY issue a store credit, no exceptions. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled. Customers will be notified by text or call in advance & a store credit will be automatically issued. Refunds will be issued if requested via email, text, or by phone call 24 hours after cancellation text is sent
