Amy Engleman

Amy Engleman

Hi, I'm Amy, and you and I could become the most magical painting team in all the land! I was born with a love for art and a strange affinity for cats. I pursued the former all the way to Moore College of Art & Design, where I studied illustration and graduated with honors. When I’m not at Painting with a Twist helping you create paintings you can't wait to hang on your wall, I paint portraits of pets, thus indulging my second innate passion! Among my best skills are bug saving, cat collecting, and perfecting the art of brush washing. Ask anyone around the studio who’s good…they’ll tell you.....Amy!

I’m a card-carrying member of the geek community (not to be confused with the nerds, they’re different), and I’ve finally decided to stop pretending otherwise. ( I wasn’t fooling anyone anyway.) I love all things dragon, elf, castle, magic, and knight, and yes, I’m one of those Renaissance Faire people. So if you’re in one of my classes and you mention Captain America or Lord of the Rings, I apologize in advance if I go into a geek-spiel. I’ve got a couple decades of experience in art, though, since I’ve worked as an animator, an art teacher, an illustrator, and a comic book artist. When I’m not painting or drawing, I’m writing short stories and novels about—you guessed it—dragons, elves, castles, and magic. For me, the best art tells a story about the unique individual who made it, and I’m looking forward to helping you put a little slice of your story on canvas.

Hi! My name is Christa and I love to create! Before I found a home working at PWAT, I worked in retail for several years. When I am not at work or painting, I am spending time at home relaxing with my husband and two pups watching pretty much anything on Comedy Central and Investigation Discovery! I graduated from Kutztown University in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in fine arts. I dabble in many different mediums including painting, drawing and sculpting. Painting is definitely my passion and it's a great way to relax and unwind. You never know, you might find out that you have a hidden passion for the palette as well!

Hello, I'm Emmalee! (Yes, that's really how you spell it.) Art is my passion and I love figuring out things about myself through painting. Together, you can, too! My favorite things to paint are outer space and aliens because they are so unexplored and unknown. I am motivated by a strong sense of wonder and hunger for knowledge. That's what got me through college at Bloomsburg University, where I received my Bachelor's in Fine Art. Besides all that, I also love dogs, kids, Hello Kitty, and, most of all, The Beatles. So let's paint together and learn something new, whether it be about the world or ourselves!

Maggie M.

Maggie M.

Hey hey! My name is Margaret, but you can call me Maggie! Unlike many of my awesome co-workers at PWAT Exeter, I have no professional experience with art! I am currently going into my senior year at Albright College with a degree in Communications and Music Business. So, how did I end up here, you ask? Well, let me tell you! In my elementary and high school years, art classes, music classes and photography classes always felt like an escape from my hectic academic schedule. With all of the college craziness, painting, drawing and photographing remain very therapeutic necessities in my life! When I’m not working, I am most likely volunteering, reading, listening to music, daydreaming or spending time with my family. Aside from being an Artist, I am also a marketing intern at the Santander Arena and I hold executive positions in two of Albright’s student organizations. I am SO excited to laugh, paint and have fun with you at Painting With A Twist!
Wysteria.S

Wysteria.S

"Given the name Wysteria by my wonderful mother, I was destined to be born with a creative spirit. My sister and I spent much of our childhood spending time enjoying the great outdoors. Our mother would take us on many adventures! We could be often be found digging our feet into the soft sand at the beach, smelling the green earthy scents of the forests while hiking and exploring, and scampering about our backyard. Of course we spend our fare share of time indoors as well. Our Grandparents brought into our lives the original PlayStation at it's release, with a single game for each of us. My sister, was granted Spyro the Dragon, and myself, I was equipped with Crash Bandicoot. In collaboration with our grandparents, we spent ages conquering these games! And then it happened. Bestowed upon us, The Legend of Dragoon! And thus began my eternal love for all things anime and video games! I spend any surplus of time I may have, continuing to enjoy nature, drawing, crafting, reading outside (weather permitting), enjoying music, spending time with my debonair and oh so suave pomeranian, and just downright enjoying myself! After all, what is life if you're not truly living! So join me! Spend some time with us in the studio, paint, enjoy yourself, and LIVE!”
