What is Painting with a Twist?
Painting with a Twist is a fun, relaxed art studio where anyone can paint—no experience needed! Our friendly artists guide you step-by-step, and at the end, you get to take home your masterpiece.
How does it work?
Check out our online calendar, choose a painting you love, and register online. Arrive 10–15 minutes early, bring your favorite drinks and snacks, and get ready for a fun, creative time!
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, reservations are required for most classes and can be made online, by phone, or in person during studio hours. Payment is due when booking (credit card required for phone reservations).
We also offer Pop In & Paint hours daily, where reservations are optional but recommended.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy
- 1–2 seats: 24-hour notice required
- 3 or more seats: 72-hour notice required
Class credit will not be issued for late cancellations or no-shows—no exceptions.
We do not offer refunds for guest cancellations.
Classes require a minimum of 4 reservations. If we do not meet this minimum, we will contact you at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time to reschedule or offer alternate options:
- Pop In & Paint – with written or video instructions
- Open Studio – artist-guided session
- Take-Home Kit – with written or video instructions
- Studio Credit
What is the price for a class?
- 1.5-hour classes: $30
- 2-hour classes: $40
- 3-hour classes: $50
- (Some specialty surfaces may be higher.)
What does the class fee include?
Everything you need to create your art—canvas, paints, brushes, apron, and step-by-step guidance from our artist.
When is the schedule posted?
Our new monthly calendar is posted by the 15th of each month.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes! We’re a BYOB studio—bring your favorite drinks and snacks (finger foods work best). Alcohol is for ages 21+ only.
Is there an age limit?
- Evening classes (after 6 PM Mon–Fri & after 4 PM Sat–Sun): 18+ (15+ with a paying adult).
- Family classes: Ages 6+ recommended.
- Afternoon classes: Ages 10+ recommended.
Can we sit together?
Absolutely! Just let us know in the “Notes” section when booking, and we’ll do our best to seat your group together.
Do I need to bring friends?
Nope! Many guests come solo—it’s a great way to meet new people or enjoy some creative “me time.” Everyone’s welcome!
What should I wear?
We use fast-drying acrylic paint that doesn’t wash out of fabric. We provide aprons, but wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
Can friends or kids watch without painting?
All guests must have a paid seat to remain in the studio during class. Parents of younger painters can stay during Family classes, but seating next to them isn’t guaranteed. We encourage kids to paint independently—our artists are there to help!
