About This Event

One pet per canvas! This is a Special Paint Your Pet event benefiting the original no-kill animal shelter, Operation Kindness. You’ll send us a picture of your fur baby; we’ll sketch it on a canvas and teach you to paint it! You’ll create a portrait you’ll be proud to display in your home or office, and it will be for a great cause: 50% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Operation Kindness! Please email a high-quality headshot of your super cute pet to: studio128@paintingwithatwist.com. Please email the photo ASAP so we can prep for your event!

Ages 12+ welcome! Come and paint with us in our new Plano studio! We are all about FUN art, not FINE art! You don't need to be Picasso or Frida Kahlo to enjoy our events!

-Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to mingle, and find your seat. The painting will start on time. If you’re coming with others, but making reservations separately, give us your group’s name or point person in the Special Request box.
- We are BYOB, so guests 21 yrs + are welcome to bring beer, wine, or champagne ONLY. Non-alcoholic beverages are also allowed. Please have your ID ready.
- You’re welcome to bring snack foods and hor 'd oeuvres, please note table space is limited
- All guests must have a reservation. No toddlers/infants allowed. No exceptions.

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the artist, postpone the event, or cancel an event for unforeseen circumstances. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be canceled by our office. Customers will be notified in advance and refunds will be issued.

I authorize the photographing, videotaping, and/or interviewing of our guests during this event and understand that the resulting photographs, videotapes, or interviews may be published and used to promote Painting With A Twist, Plano programs.

Refund/Cancellation

All sales are final and non-refundable.

All cancellations must be made via EMAIL by responding to your reservation confirmation.

Public Events:
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive studio credit, which is valid for one calendar year from the date of issuance.
• No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours forfeit their payment and are not eligible for studio credit.
• Late Arrivals: Events start and end as scheduled. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to join the class. No refunds or studio credit are offered.
• Custom Paintings (e.g., Paint Your Pet, Portrait, Open Studio): Due to the customization of the sketched canvas, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to change the artist, postpone, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances. Events with insufficient enrollment may be canceled; guests will be notified in advance.

Private Parties follow the refund policy outlined in the event agreement.

Twist at Home Kits & Retail Items
• No refunds or exchanges once kits are prepared for pickup or shipped.
• All sales are final on retail items.

Bad Weather Policy:
• Decisions made 4 hours prior based on conditions within a 10-mile radius of the studio.
• If a weather emergency is declared or roads are unsafe, events will be rescheduled, or guests will receive studio credit valid for one calendar year from the date of issuance. If the studio is open, standard cancellation policies apply.
