Painting with a Twist FAQ

COVID-19 F.A.Q.

Q: Is the studio open?

A: YES, the studio re-opened on Friday, June 26, 2020 when Bucks County moved to the Green phase.  And we have 3 ways of painting; our classic in-studio classes, online virtual classes, and Twist at Home kits. Our classic in-studio classes will have limited seating! Due to social distancing, our studio can only fit half the original capacity to ensure the safety of everyone who will be there. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. For the safety of our customers and staff, we encourage anyone with a cough or fever to choose our Online Virtual Classes and Twist at Home Kits.

Q: What are Online Virtual Classes?

A: Online Virtual Classes are classes where the Artist is instructing the class step by step where you can ask questions and interact.  Just like you do in the studio but from the comfort of your own home. The class is instructed via ZOOM. We will supply the art supplies in a kit, which you will be notified when ready for pickup at our studio a couple of days before the event.

Q: What are Twist At Home Kits?

A: Twist At Home Kits are art supply kits that you can paint from the comfort of your own home.  There is no interaction with an artist but you receive detailed written instructions and where the video symbol is the artwork comes with a pre-recorded video.

Q: How do I pay for my reservation?

A: We are asking everyone to use Contactless payments by prepaying with a credit card.

Q: Will I need to pay any additional fees due to the COVID-19 virus?

A: PWAT Warrington will not up-charge for any PPE or other COVID-19 expenses.

Q: Can I book a Private Party?

A: Yes and you can have it the way that is most comfortable for you; classic in-studio, online virtual, or with Twist at Home Kits.  Check out Party Page for more information and to request a party. Through the end of the pandemic our minimum is only 8 people!

Q: Do I need to wear a Mask?

A: Guests/team members are required to wear face coverings (masks). Masks must be worn to enter the studio. It’s the law in PA! Masks also need to be worn if you're moving about the studio (i.e. going to the restroom) but can be off when eating or drinking at your seat.

Q: Does my group need to sit together or can we be social distanced from each other?

A: When you sign up for a class we will assume your group wants to be seated together. If your group needs to be social-distanced from each other, call/text the studio at 267-483-5887 or email us at with your seating requirements.

Q: Can I bring food and snacks?

A: To be on the safe side, we are asking everyone to BYO everything. We suggest non-sharable or single serving foods. Paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, and corkscrews will be available by request at the front desk. Instead of using the silver food tables, you will have your food at your painting area.

Q: What is the studio doing to provide a safe environment?

A:  We are following closely the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines from state and local health authorities. We are increasing cleaning to sanitize all high-touch surfaces between every event. There are bottles of hand sanitizer for everyone's use. We are using plexiglass sneeze guards that we separate groups with and wash aprons after each class.

Please be patient. This is new to all of us, and we're sure there will be some kinks to work out. While these new measures will be an adjustment, our commitment to providing you with the best experience possible has remained the same. We look forward to welcoming you back into our studio!

Q: What are the prices for a class?
A: Two hour classes are offered for $37 to $60, two and one-half hour classes are $42 - $60, and three hour classes for $47 - $65. Select Family Friendly classes for ages 12 and under are offered for $30 randomly throughout the month. Check out our calendar for the available public classes!

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Warrington Plaza! Our address is 632 Easton Rd, Warrington, PA 18976, at the corner of Street & Easton (Routes 132 & 611). We’re in between Quest Diagnostics, and the ATI Physical Therapy! See what the inside of our studio looks like with our Google Maps indoor virtual tour.

Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule?
A: Our calendar is published by the 1st of every month for the following month!

Q: Will my painting be dry by the end of the night?
A: Yes! If there are a few damp places we have hair dryers available. So you’ll be able to make sure they’re dry and safely take your paintings on the journey home.

Q: At what time should I arrive for class?
A: You should arrive 15-20 minutes before the class starts. That way you have time to get checked in and settled at your seat before the start time!

Q: Do you do reserved seating?
A: Yes we do! When you make your reservation, it will give you the option for seating requests. Which is where you can tell us who you want to sit with so we can make arrangements during set up!

Q: Will you have openers and cups?
A: Yes, we supply wine and bottle openers! We also have 9 oz plastic cups available, so leave your fancy wine glasses at home!

Q: Since it is around dinner, can we bring food?
A: Yes! Snacks are encouraged at our facility! Just remember you are painting most of the time, so finger foods might be the best option!

Q: What do I wear?
A: You can wear whatever is comfortable for you! We do have aprons available for you to use, and before class our artists encourage everyone to wear one to prevent getting any paint on your clothes! WARNING: Acrylic paint does stain clothing, so if you get paint on your clothes, you’ll just have an outfit to come hang with us again!

Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Yes, we do require a paid reservation online or over the phone to secure your seats. If you can’t make it, we require a 24 hour cancellation in order for you to receive a store credit for your reservation. Unfortunately, no calls/no shows will not be issued store credit.

Q: Do you do private parties?
A: Yes, we love private parties! There is a minimum requirement to keep an event private, during the week it’s 10 people, and for the weekend it’s 12 people. For more information on our private parties, see the Party Info page or text PARTY to 267-483-5887!

Q: What size is the canvas?
A: It depends on the class you sign up for! Our standard canvas size is 16 x 20 inches. But we also have other fun classes you can choose from, such as; mini canvases, 12”x12” canvases, wood cutouts, wine glasses, 10”x 30” canvases, Rebecca Flott Arts Screen Art and our NEW Pine Wood Plank Boards! For more details on classes, check out our calendar!

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Since most evening classes often have alcohol present, our policy is Monday-Thursday must be 15 or older, and Friday and Saturday must be 18 or older. For the younger crowd, we recommend ages 8 and older for Family Days or afternoon classes, and for Kids Parties ages 8-12.

**Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages.**

Q: Can my friends come and watch us without painting?
A: We like to accommodate to all of our customers who have made reservations and paid for seats. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough room in our studio for everyone, as much as we love big crowds, and having tons fun, if they didn’t pay for a seat they won’t be able to stick around. The only exception for this is for the parents whose children are participating in an All Ages class. We invite parents to paint and share the experience with their children, but if you don't wish to paint, you may sit with your child if seating permits. For safety reasons, infants and animals cannot be accommodated in any class.

Q: Is your studio a corporate franchise?
A:  We are a local franchise of Painting with a Twist, which means we are independently owned and operated. When you paint with us, you help support the community of Warrington!

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: A store credit will be issued for your reservation if you cancel within at least 24 hours notice. "No shows" will not be issued store credit. If you are 20 minutes late or over,  you may not be allowed to paint and your payment will be forfeited. For the refund policy for Private Parties please see the Party Info page!

Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. We will try to notify registrants 24 hours prior to class time and store credits will be processed.
