Looking forward to the future!

Dear Twist Family!

As we head into a new year, we wanted to share a little more about what we are intentionally building at Painting with a Twist and why it matters for you.

At its heart, our hope is simple. This studio should be a place where you can come as you are, slow down, and leave feeling better than when you arrived. Not just entertained, but encouraged.

Here is what that looks like moving forward.

We are continuing to shape the studio into a place you can stay. A space that feels less like a quick class and more like a creative gathering, where painting, conversation, and a good drink naturally go together. We are just beginning our partnership with Greenhouse Winery, and while it is still new, we are excited about what it allows us to slowly build toward. In the year ahead, you will start to see more relaxed evenings and creative experiences designed around connection rather than rush.

We are also investing more deeply in artists. When artists are supported, creativity feels more alive for everyone. Through our Artist Access Program, you will start seeing more original work in the studio, more opportunities to interact with local artists, and more artist-led experiences. Our goal is that when you walk in, the creativity feels personal and real, not distant or transactional.

And at the center of everything is community. In a season when many people feel busy or disconnected, we believe shared experiences matter. Sitting side by side, creating something with your hands, talking, laughing, and leaving with a sense that you were part of something good.

Our faith shapes this deeply. As Christians, we believe creativity is a gift from God, people are made for community, and hospitality matters. That belief guides how we welcome guests, support artists, and care for our team. You do not have to share our faith to belong here, but it is the foundation of why we try to lead with kindness, generosity, and intention in everything we do.

If you made it all the way to the end of this email, thank you. If you are feeling up for it, we would love it if you hit reply with one word that describes how you want to feel when you walk out of the studio.

We read every response, and your ideas genuinely help shape what we build next. Thank you for being part of this community and for choosing to spend your time with us!

With gratitude,

Jason and Dea Propst
